Patrick Mojones once again a cry baby

When I saw the Chiefs lose last night I had mixed feelings. I know that helps our playoff seeding but I might have preferred the Bills getting bounced from playoff contention.

Then when I saw Mojones whining AGAIN I was glad the Chiefs lost.

They had a great play that initially scored a TD but the receiver who got the lateral from That Guy Who Is With Taylor Swift actually lined up offsides at the snap. Replay showed he definitely, clearly lined up offsides.

On a later play, I thought I saw a Bills defender Jump offsides but the refs didn't call it. I thought this was what Mojones was mad at, but apparently he was still kvetching about his own receiver being called offsides. When he was clearly offsides.

What a damn baby, jeez.

He oficially took the torch from Brady as biggest crybaby in the NFL. I hope he gets fined hefty for his helmet tantrum. Then he has the f'ing nerve to get in front of a podium to basically say to the NFL refs it was big play, you should have let us cheat. Dude needs to grow the f up.

Agreed. This guy lost a golden opportunity to get fans from other markets not competing in the same division to root for him. I know I was a fan of his (emphasis on WAS) in games that did not affect the Dolphins. I thought 'here's an all american kid whose legacy might just eclipse Brady's'. Well yeah, his legacy as a WHINER.

Terrible. Remember that whole conversation about "it"? Pat has the tools but no professional should ever act like that in public.id be embarrassed if he was my QB. Go in the locker room and upturn a table if you must, but he disrespected every Chief fan. Highest paid QB in the history of the sport and acts like a spoiled child.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

For me, I'd rather have 2 SB wins in the last 3 years and perennial (hopfully not this year) trips to the AFC championship game every year since 2018 and an embarrassing sideline meltdown with a double-down of ref-blaming on the podium one Sunday after the WR corps loses them at least their 2nd last-second loss of the season.

In no way do I condone what he did. And, I want my cake & eat it to...meaning, I want Tua to lead us to 5 straight conference championship games and 2 SB wins AND never lose his cool publicly. But, if I had to choose between 2 SB wins and an isolated public rant on one Sunday or 0 SB wins and no rant, I'd choose the former.

He crossed a line and I'll bet we see some evidence - even if it's just him not whining as much - of contrition. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he publicly apologized. My guess is that he's actually unbelievably pissed at his WR corps (very justifiably so) and unwisely misdirected that at the refs yesterday.

In terms of him having 'it', yesterday is just another example of him putting the team in position to win at the last minute of a high-pressure, crucial game this season. If the QB were able to realistically throw and catch the passes, I'd take that into consideration with him having 'it' or not. Against Philly, Valdes-Scantling dropped a TD on 2nd & 10 with 1:50 left...and in the same drive Watson dropped a 1st down catch on 4th & 25 with 1:35 left. Yesterday, a TD comes off the board cuz a WR does something stupid that, honestly, didn't give him a meaningful advantage in how the play played out. Heck, even on opening day against Detroit, Toney lets a perfectly good pass bounce off his hands and the defender returns it for a TD. Granted, the last example, there was a lot of game left so it wasn't at the end of the game when the chips are down...but KC lost by 1.

Edited just to say that this perspective may make me a worse fan in the court of public opinion. I really want to win. Not by cheating, but willing to put up with some shenanigans (heck, we've had enough of those without the benefit of SB wins).

All good what you said— baseless complaining about the officials is not cheating. And you make a good point. He very well may have REALLY been angry with his receivers and chose to vent his anger towards the refs— that prevents finger pointing in the locker room.

I am sure he's pissed at his WRs, but normally you get fined for bitching at the refs- he deserves to be fined.
BTW, the guy that lined up offsides was Valdes-Scantling, not Mr. Swift.

I don't believe I said it was Mr. Swift....he got (received) the lateral FROM Mr. Swift.
Anyway, to me Mr. Swift is former LB Doug Swift. Who played on our undefeated squad then quit the NFL to go to med school and become an accomplished surgeon. THAT's a real Mr. Swift.
