Browns beat San Fran so, storybook match-up next Sunday night in Philly where the New Dolphins can serve up champagne to the Old Dolphins by knocking the Eagles out of the undefeated ranks.
Go Phins.
Ramsey could start light practice/jogging this week.Thats a good sign. But our defense is just not handling the pass rush at all. The same group was pretty darn stout last two seasons. Fangino is starting to piss me off.
I thought our pass pressure was decent both this week and last with the BIG caveat that we were playing two teams struggling with pass protection. We (along with most of the league, really) struggle with elite throwers and we especially struggle with mobile QBS (not telling anyone on this board anything we don't all know already).
I watched the Philly game and the Jets D was super-stout against the run, hit good & hard and wrapped up on tackles. Hurts had what was probably one of his worst games. Overall, I think our defensive personnel is just about as talented as the Jets - especially with them missing both starting CB. But every time I've seen them play this year, they play hard and with heart.
I like the blueprint - strictly contain the run, bring energy, wrap up. And I think we can do it...just will we do it.
