Looks like White has won the backup QB job. I'm kinda surprised; from the two preseason games I saw on TV, I though Thompson did a better job, plus he knows the offense better.

That first posession of White in the first game was pretty impressive. He marched them right down first down after first down.......of course it ended in a INT in the end zone.....but White is clearly more polished. And like you point out he will only get better as he gets more experienced in the system. I think we definitely have the best 3rd stringer in the NFL for sure. The question I have is do we go with 3 QBs? Absolutely! TUA has shown he cannot remain healthy for 17 weeks. We need the insurance . They had better not put him on the practice squad he will go faster then a tray of chicken wings in the locker room. If White works out Thompson could be worth 3-5 rounder..........

I don't think White actually won the job; I think he was paid to come here and be the No.2, and from that date he was going to be the no.2 regardless of the preseason happenings. Several local reporters had Thompson winning the job, but I don't think that was ever going to happen.

Nah I disagree. Watch white in that 2nd pre season game. He was really connecting. Pass after pass until that 1 INT. Im a Thompson fan , but hes no were near the polished as white when it comes to reading defenses and release.
