Detroit! Yes, the "mighty" Lions face the Dolphins on their turf today. This game could be a runaway for the Dolphins offensively and could be the highest scoring game of this season. But of course, it may be competitive offensively unless our defense can stop their big backs and we can put pressure on their QB. A strong running game should be the game plan...again to minimize the risk of Tua getting creamed on their hard turf. Let's keep our fingers crossed and we score continually. Time consuming drives and time of possession rule.
27 points scored against us and the penalties enforced and the total penalties declined is a telling sign that our defense is out to lunch today. Noah Igbinoghene horrible coverage IMO.
Offense is okay right now but it will be difficult being down 10 points at half time to outpoint the Lions.
This game is a big surprise to me. I never expected our defense to be so lame.
We scored and pulled ahead for the victory. Congrats!
It was a nail biter during the first half. Tua was on target, had a great outing as did the receivers. Waddle 2 TDs, Gesicki 1 and Hill had 166 yards (I think that was the number).
Eichenberg got hurt. Hunt came in and did a fine job.
Not to take anything away from Tua playing his part but the offensive design + speed and twitch of our 2 starting WR are HUGE difference makers. So awesome to see design + playcalling + QB/receiver execution come together.
It's a different offense when Tua's processing quickly and throwing accurately and Armstead is giving just that extra bit of protected time.
