Your absolutely correct. But....think of all the better picks we had but blew. Don't look at the draft order. We need to make better picks no matter where we draft if we want to be successful.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

It is tough to think that without moving an inch over the past 2 yrs, we could have had:
- Herbert
- Justin Jefferson
- Jonathan Taylor
- Jamar Chase (or keep Waddle and the add'l 2023 1st rounder)
- Creed Humphrey

And that's just the draft and keeping the seemingly keeper picks we took and like (Hunt, Davis, Phillips & Holland) in just the 1st & 2nd rounds over the past couple of years.

To Treasure's point, maybe it is good to view it as having two 2nd rounders since that's been a pretty good round to us recently.

It could be a blessing in disguise. We could pick one of the top running backs....Kenneth Walker or Isaiah Speller and it would not be a "reach". A position that need an upgrade.

I would pick Carson Strong QB Nevada if available, don't trust Tua. Maybe a top OT, Edge or LB will fall to us.

Since we already have DaVonte Dedmon as a WR/KR/PR.

With the 29th pick we should take: WR, Jahan Dotson, Penn State.

Then with our #2 we should take, WR, Reggie Roberson, SMU.

Then with our #3, we should take RB, Zamir White, GA.

Every other pick should be BPA.

This rebuilds our WR room with 4.3 speed almost everywhere and it finishes off our RB room with speed, moves, toughness, and size.

F/A can be used for adding OL and maybe a veteran MLB and for keeping as many of our current players as possible.

RE: I like Zamir White better than Kenneth Walker. He hits the hole harder and is more decisive. He's more of an I'll run you over back but with sneaky fast speed and moves. Since we need speed on offense, I'd rather use our first two picks on WR's, and take a RB in the 3rd.

if we sign Duke and Lindsay I would agree. need to sign Cam Robinson, Terron Armstead and or Lakin Tomlinson. keep an eye on Treylon Burks and Christian Watson. Deebo like??

personally I move X to Philly for our pick and a third?

take

Treylon Burks
Kaiir Elam
Christian Watson
Zamir White? Zach Charbonnet(Watch his tape!)? Rachaad White? Kennedy Brooks?

Waddle, Burks, Watson, Braxton Berrios? Devonte Dedmon, River Cracraft?, Kirk Merritt?

I wanted the Phins to draft Charbonnet but he is returning to UCLA for the 2022 season.

Parker I get. He's a good receiver but he's hurt more then healthy.

But Everyone is cutting Howard way too short. Besides making the Probowl 2 yrs in the row and being the heart of the defense that gave us a 7 game winning streak.......he is extremely popular and respected. When he sat out , even after getting a new contract the players backed him. 100%.

Howard is the heart of this football team. Nothing works without him.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Just think adding a big weapon like Burks and a CB like McCreary plus a top RB in the 3rd makes us a better team and we likely aren't getting Burks, maybe even Watson, at 29

Could add some RB(Duke, Lindsay, Conner? Fournette?) & WR via FA and be satisfied, but we have a bad FA track record here

The idea of moving Howard is one I'd be hesitant to do also because we lost Flores. Talent & experience can cover coaching drop-off, especially in the short term. With so many moving pieces, I'd be cautious in creating a Howard-sized hole on D.

Definitely not. Howard was hurt a few times and the whole defense suffered. Almost a Dominos effect. He plays man to man and blankets his side of tge field for most of the game. Always gets a pick or two and leaves the rest of the defense to concentrate on the run and the middle.

I believe the rest of the team plays off of him. This defense can be special and he's the head of the snake.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!
