Dolphins v. Bills: Game Day Thread Spooktacular

Happy Halloween everyone--enjoy the day and tonight's trick or treaters. (Always fun at our house.)

On to business: The Dolphins face the very formidable Bills this afternoon. This is going to be a big uphill battle for the defense. Josh Allen and his receivers have it together and it will be tough trying to cover the routes their receivers run. Hopefully, Allen becomes too confident and throws into coverage that results in an interception. Our ground game showed itself last week; perhaps it will be back for this game. thumbs up

The game starts just after 1pm.

Give it your best: Go Dolphins!!!

Well Halloween used to be a really fun time around here but my boys are grown and with the large infusion of population here lately I'm being summoned to work at overtime rates......so my night is going to consist of parents fighting over custody of children(funny the ID's of most of these people are from New England) Rode Island must be a fun place.....Kids egging houses and hopefully nothing worse.

6 weeks ago I couldn't have been more excited about this team. Today watching will actually be a chore. Probably going to power wash and stick my head in occasionally. My younger son has a party and my older currently equates watching the Dolphins as a form of sado machoism. No different then whacking yourself with a cat of nine tails. Self inflicted pain. That said.......

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Good lord these coaches need to be fired and does Tua not have the sense to delay the snap count until the guy passes the center???

My long time buddy called me at the half and said the Dolphins look like the Keystone Cops.

Waddle didn't know where to go. Kesicki was showing him and boom gets hit with the ball on the hike. What was Tua thinking. Doesn't he have peripheral vision? Yup, Keystone Cops--so far.

Got to do better in the thinking department.

The final score Bills 26, Dolphins 11.

It was an unexciting game. The Dolphins D gave the impression they were stepping up their play, however, my impression was that the Bills offense was a bit flat coming off a bye-week.

Our offense struggled to run or to pass the ball. Parker caught quite a few passes and that was good to see. Offensive player location was confusing for Waddle and Gesicki tried to fix the miss location of Waddle twice and got the "stooge" award the second time for getting hit with the ball on the hike. UGH. Not his problem but Tua's as he is calling the signals.

Trying to give the benefit of the doubt to Tua as QB, but he once again threw an interception. He tried to force the ball and that was the result. Watching Allen throw seems effortless; Tua struggles and has a much weaker arm. He also makes rookie mistakes.

The Dolphins are now 1-7 and the 2021 season can't be turned around. Tua is our QB for 2021, and I underscore 2021. I don't believe he is our franchise QB and another QB pick is in order.

Since 'monogolic' isn't a word, I have no idea what you mean.

Ah! mononucleosis! Now I understand. But, I think that Gesicki just got caught in the general confusion that is the Miami Dolphins these days.
