Looks like a rough start for Tua with 5 INTs. Really means nothing at this point. Xavien Howard not showing up could be more serious if it becomes a holdout. I'd like to see his contract adjusted with pure incentives, something like half a million for each INT. No more guaranteed money. I have no idea if that would be possible.
See if Howard was there I'd be OK with the INTs......
Seriously, Howard got his contract. If he didn't live up to it would he be giving money back? He's wants guarantees because he's got an injury history. He's the best player on the team though. He's got us by the nuts.
TUA. 1st practice. New recievers against a damn fine defense. New coaches. It will Jell.
Raining hard and playing in mud. Had it been a real game we run it almost all the time. I work close to stadium and yesterday was a mess. Raining all day.
We are gonna need him against teams like Buffalo. He terrified defenses last season. But we can't hand out extensions like candy either. Giesicki wants to get paid too.
"Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa ‘electric'during day two of minicamp
No one will talk about it, but Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa was impressive on Wednesday, throwing six touchdowns and ZERO interceptions at Wednesday’s minicamp.
been great. He's been awesome. He has all the
talent in the world," Marino said recently, via
ESPN.com. "Now it's just about him developing the
relationship with the other players."
There are a lot of reasons Tua struggled last
year. For one, he admittedly didn't know the
playbook as well as he probably should have, but
one reason for that could have been because he
didn't get a true offseason as a rookie due to the
pandemic. Since Tua will be getting a full
offseason this year, Marino says that's one reason
why he thinks the second-year quarterback will
improve.
Tua not only had to go against the weather, but Flores wanted him to "let it loose" so Tua and everyone else could learn each others moves, etc., and give Tua the chance to throw it more than 10 yards.
