Ok , just for fun lets give a best prediction , not what you want , not who you think we need..... let's have your best prediction and see who gets closest.
Miami Trades with Carolina to grab Justin Fields from New England.
Chase Falls because Cincinnati takes Sewell. We get Chase at #8 and an extra 3rd rounder.
We then grab Linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah at 18.
Harris will be there at #36 on Friday night.
Extra picks we get a Center , RT , maybe a project QB.
Oh yes harris probably be there in the 5th round. Yes he will. The second best rb in the draft other than ettiene. The third rb they mention is a fumble maching.
But yes harris is going to be there probably in the fifth round.
Sam. Trying to have some fun here. For a change. Please delete your post and post what you feel will most likely will happen.
AFTER the draft have at it. Lets have fun tonight. WHO do you think will be drafted ....Not WHO YOU WANT , NOT WHO YOU THINK WE NEED. This is it......gun pointed at your head.....What is Miami doing. Give it your best shot. Relax. Have some fun for a change.
I still remember when we picked dan marino...this dum@$$ dan simmerman i believe was his name sayin......quote i dont know why they picked him i dont know who they have at miami thats going to work with him to make him a good qb.
Just like the rest of these fool comentators who get paid lots of money and dont know squat.
SF - Lance
Atl- Fields or Pitts
Cincy - Sewell or Chase
If if does Lance, Pitts, Chase what do the phins do?
Take Waddle? Sewell?
Trade down with whomever wants Fields? Feel the Bridgewater and Darnold signings may be smoke and not preclude them or Detroit from taking Fields
Take Fields and have him compete with Tua or shop him him to WFT, Saints, Chicago or other team and and pick up another player? Top QB are tough to find, we know as much as anyone
I would trade 18 down a few spots and take Harris or Jevonte. We can find OL and DE in the second or 3rd
Miami makes their pick at 6, then again at 18. As the draft moves on, Grier sees a guy high on their list, still there, say around pick 25 or so. Miami trades their 2nd rounder and a later pick to move back into the first round to get their guy.
Miami has enough ammunition to do something like this.
What do you guys think about the 18th pick dend looks good on film. If ettiene or najee harris fall to second round they are steals there. Hope we can get either one.
Hey tcpf i thought ettiene and najee harris werent going in the first round? You said they were going in the second. Told you.....again missed out on two of the best rbs in this draft...now we going to draft the next tweener bust that we can find. Youll see.
Pittsburgh running game sucked so they were going RB, Jacksonville saw an opportunity. We took the best WR we could at 6 and we needed a DE at 18. Good job!!!!!
We have a number of RBs on the roster. Maybe we get Williams in the second round. Maybe we have more pressing issues. We have the 4th pick in the second round....still to LB, a Safety and the best DT still on the board along with Williams.
If jeremiah-owusu-koramoah is still there at 36 we grab him . The draft is weird like that. He's a 1st round talent all day long but drops due to other teams needs.
Then other players go quicker then rated due again to a certain few teams needs.
Do they trade up for williams with jacksonville who has the 1st pick in the second or
Doing some detective work, a name that shows up a lot is Chuba Hubbard of Oklahoma State.
Hubbard is 6-foot and 210 pounds. He ran a 4.48 and then 4.5 time at his pro day, which is good for his size. He also had a notable 36-inch vertical leap.
Showed ability to carry a significant load.
Runs with good tempo.
Smooth downhill flow with efficient change of direction.
Instinctive through the traffic.
Accurate reads up to linebackers in outside zone.
Vision to recognize and get skinny through small creases.
Agile feet to spin or jump-cut away from tacklers.
Rarely bounces runs wide unnecessarily.
Angle tackles slide off loose, slippery hips.
Effective on screens and can work out of backfield against LBs.
Weaknesses:
Is a little lighter than expected for the heavy tote total.
Below-average leg drive to break NFL tackles.
Not a fall-forward finisher.
Running style is more rigid than creative.
Needs willingness to improvise once he's on second level.
Average burst to outrun faster linebackers to the corner.
Fumbles come from carrying ball away from frame in space.
Needs to improve blitz recognition and pass pro technique.
If jeremiah-owusu-koramoah LB Is there at 36 Thats an incredible value. He will STOP Buffalo Bills drives. Hes our answer to Zach Thomas.
Then a player like Chuba Hubbard at later on. Maybe round 3?,
The quick picks don't really mean anything. Last year they were also quick to pick Tua over Herbert. Like the saying goes,, Not always right but, never in doubt.

It shows that Miami knew what they wanted . They did their homework and got the two guys they wanted. Never said that means they need to get fitted for yellow jackets. They didn't F around....I thought for sure they would be shielding calls for Justin Fields. At least see what they want to offer. Wait out the 5 minutes.......Nope. BOOM. Waddle. Didn't even think about Smith. I like that they know what they want. It shows confidence and a plan. A direction.
