We traded the #3 pick to the 49ers for the #12 pick and a third rounder this year as well as first rounders in 2022 and 2023.

I wish we'd have gotten more this year...

Miami moves up to #6.

Philadelphia will ship the sixth overall pick in this year’s draft to Miami for No. 12 overall and a 2022 first-round pick. (The Eagles will also ship the 156th overall pick to Miami and get the 123rd overall pick in the deal.)

It’s unclear which 2022 first-round pick the Dolphins have sent to the Eagles.

So we traded a first (12) and a fourth (123) this year, and a 1st next year (?) for a first (6) and fifth (156) this year.

Not sure I like this trade.

Don't think Marshall will go that high or Etienne that low

Toney or either Moore for the slot is a big upgrade especially with Pitts

if me I take the RB at 18 and ensure we get the top one and edge at 36

If we let ettiene fall to low he will get picked by someone else. Just like we missed the rbs last year.

Possible but I prefer Jevonte, see a lot of Ladanian Tomlinson

Could also avoid that risk and take the top RB at 18 DE at 36? Basham, or Joe Tryon likely there at 36. Check their tape

Also like Rhamondre Stevenson, Chubba Hubbard, Kennedy Brooks Trey Sermon later but if we traded a 4th they may be gone there

Its crystal clear that Miami has its sights on someone with the #6 pick. OR they might plan to trade again? Crazzzzzzy day for sure.

All this came from that trade with the Texans for their 1st rounder for OT Tunsil. And we were lucky to get him. He fell in the draft after his step dad posted a Picture of him smoking marijuana that caused him to fall to us.

Like this or not.......basically the Dolphins want somebody (I'm hoping its PITTS)and taking them at #3 was too expensive so Miami wheeled and dealed to the #6 and Grier still thinks he can get who he wants AND pick up an additional 1st rounder in 2023. And we root for the 49ers to suck.

Interesting. We still have #18 and 3 picks on day 2. as well as #6 overall.

Imagine We start really competing .......Playoffs and we get 2 #1 picks in 2023. This is the kind of draft day strategy the Pats always had.

Im thinking they have their eyes on Pitts. CIN can not afford to pass on Sewell so Pitts or Chase should be their for us. Im for grabbing Etienne at 18 get the best receiver and rb in the same draft is rarely done. We should grab the opportunity. Solidify the OLine w/ Vera Tucker who can play both tackle and guard spots.

I agree brother. But a Generational Lineman or a defense player stand out like Surtain II is also a smart way to go.

This is the first draft in a long while I'm really OK with everyone mentioned.....especially now that we have moved down and secured more picks for the future.

If we get to 6 and Sewell AND PITTS are still there wow.....thats a toss up for me. Cant go wrong but man I think I have to kick my smarter self and secretly want PITTS to play side by side with Geisicki. I think the Dolphins know who they want thats why they moved down from 12 to 6 with the Eagles. This is the most fascinating and interesting Dolphins offseason in a long while!!
