One again a dominant defensive performance can shut down even the most explosive offenses.

Does that somewhat change our off-season outlook to adding a pass rushers and LB?

Still have to update WR ,and RB positions, but that could be Allen Robinson Curtis Samuel, Kenny Golladay , or Corey Davis, and Waddle or Toney , and Harris Etienne or Williams in first 2 rounds

Free agents targets?

Justin Simmons or Anthony Harris?

Yannick Ngakoue , Cam Hayward Leonard Williams or Melvin Ingram?

Lavonta David, Matt Judon, Matt Milano or Bud Dupree?

Think I haves heard of interest in Williams and Dupree

Does it also tell us trade down don't waste the #3 pick on Devonta Smith or any WR

No.

Devonta smith and the rb najee harris with the 3rd and 18th picks in the first round.

That would definetely improve our offense.

The the best 2 olinemen in the second.

Rreceiver in the third.

And then best player available so forth.

The defense just needs a little tweak..

We have passrushers lbs and dbs...we have a good special team kicker and punter.

What we need to give tua is playmakers.

Grant in slot...not so good in the outside....parker and gisicky along with the two gems in the first round and the two olineman in the second for deph

Listen to me the offense needs the most work....

This is the year to fix it....rb and receiver in first round and this will be an explossive offense along with receivers and rbs we already have.

As I said ......this was hardly a shootout. Defense won the game. Its why the Titans have failed to advance. With the best rated QB in the NFL and a killer ground game.....their defense doesn't get it done against superior teams.

HOWEVER ........You cant go the other way and be all defense and no offense either.

Our defense is pretty good. Good enough to beat the Chiefs IMO. And I think Howard and Van Ginkle / OGBAH would give Tom Brady Fits.

But....Tampa's defensive front with SUH would rape us . TUA wouldn't have time to put a single play together. Our Offense is almost disgracful. This has to be an offensive draft. Nothings changed.

We can all agree /disagree what areas players we like but it HAS TO BE all offense with the first 3 picks.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Smith is a reach at #3 can get Waddle or Toney later. Chase is better than Smith who may not be able to take the NFL beating. DeSean Jackson Percy Harvin like

Grant needs to go cant stay healthy and not a good receiver

If Sewell is available at 3 hes the best option. He will make everyone instantly better at every position.

Grab best players available at 18 and the 2nd round at reciever /RB .

Or trade down collect doubles at each position.

Once again the super bowl proved that you can have every offensive weapon on earth but if your line is suspect then you loose. Ask Brady, in his three Super Bowl losses he was on his ass a lot of the time.

Pick Sewell at #3 if you stay at that position.

If not him, then pick Ja'Marr Chase, the best WR in the draft. The Heisman winner would not have won the award if his stats were put up against Chase's stats from the previous year.

Chase is bigger, faster and younger that Smith. They both run great routes and catch well. I just don't think Smith will have a long career at that size.

FYI - wes welker and steve smith were both 5'9' 185.... which is 6 lbs larger than Devonta Smith an he is 4" taller than them.

Those are really well thought out suggestions. Absolutely. Sewell at 3 if hes available.

Go for the bigger players this go around. Chase and Harris. We need to dominate , block off the line and then run. Bigger and stronger. Not against lighter guys but this is our second rebuilding draft. Build that foundation!

The super bowl proved that playing 4 olinemen out of position and coach unwilling to adjust can cost you a super bowl.

KCs starting tackles were out. You have to factor that in and it's shortsighted to use that as a barometer for the upcoming draft.

We spent a 1st and 2nd on oline last year. We had 3 rookies playing. How about we give them an offseason and a 2nd year before investing more draft capital at the position.

Using this logic, the Packers with the top ranked oline and a franchise QB should have beaten Tampa. Sometimes a D steps up. They did against GB and KC. Give them credit for a great game plan and execution.

They need offensive weapons. That will keep a d honest too.

Absolutely a fair argument. And if it went down that way I wouldn't be terribly upset. Whats sticking me is Sewells projected status as possibly one of the best in his position EVER. Its shutdown city and he can work both sides flawlessly. Its a huge weapon.

But a guy like that ........his price Tag could be stupid in 3 yrs . Another reason to draft down?

Glad I'm not making this decision. Tell you what......whatever they choose it better give dividends. This will be a pivotal moment in our progress and one they will be pointing to for yrs to come ..make or break. Sink or swim. This is a huge decision. They better get it right.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!
