Its easy to look at the Bills game and claim failure. They might be the best team in the NFL at this point.
We came a long way this season. We are not considered a joke anymore. We need to continue in the same way......
Build the trenches. Get some playmakers at reciever. TUA was heavily rushed. That Oline is improving but needs at least 2 more fresh bodies.
Our defense was carved up by Buffalo twice now. Figure out why....fix it. Coaching was suspect too. You can't just pick players and go to the superbowl.
Watch the tape. Figure out what went wrong. Fix it.

That would instantly make us a different team against Buffalo next season. Tua had a rough season. He learned about the media... what he can say and what he cant say. He felt both victory and defeat. He will return next season a different player. We need to surround him with the right people so he can succeed.
TCPF I agree and we also have cap room to possibly add a few of Aaron Jones, Allen Robinson Chris Godwin, Kenny Golladay or Ju ju Smith Schuster Leonard Williams

YES. The Lions will move up from 7 and blow us for the rights to fields. All their picks are high in the rounds too. We take their #7 , their #2 and possibly a #1 next season.
But if the Jets were smart......and they are not usually.......Keep Darnell and trade down from that #2 for draft picks.
We take Sewell if available. No doubt.
Another great Samoan quote: Seʻi luaʻi lou le ʻulu taumamao, Pick the breadfruits on the far-off branches first. Applied to any work, etc., to be done. Do the most difficult first.

I've spoken to people who really know college ball (especially basketball)and they all believe Harris will be there in the 2nd round like Travis Henry was. Exceptions to every Rule , but in general RB's don't have a long lifespan in the NFL so first rounders on them is usually seen as poor value.
Thats a great draft if it were to shake out like that. the first two have a high probability of working out.

Explain that statement. I dont even know how a QB taken in 2017 has to do with a RB in this years draft.
will Harris stay to #50 probably not but I took a chance and it worked out. My back up plan was to take Javonte Williams RB UNC in the 3rd or 4th round, if he was not there
just read an interesting scenerio..... If Fields is there at #3 we draft him and send Tua to SF for the #11 pick and take the player we want. Basically upgrading the QB position and still getting another good player.

My Younger son showed me that before. My Oldest loves TUA. My younger son thinks we should go after fields if available. But I think its a moot point. The Jets will take Fields with the #2 and then trade Darnell for a fresh rebuild with a new coach and direction.
If Fields IS THERE at #3 and the Jets choose to rebuild around Darnell it will get very interesting very quickly.

I'd be cool with that if they are evaluating the Oline as well as see some great prospects to use in the 2nd round.

RE: Waddle won't get past NE if he's still on the board. If we want him we will have to take him at #3. Much the same as Chase or Smith.

So much to play out before the draft occurs (i.e. does NE go FA for QB or not), but my early (and admittedly, probably under-informed) understanding is that this year's crop of WR is like last year's in that there are a decent number that could go in the 1st round so that over-supply at the high end of the position grouping could collectively push each of the individuals down a bit.
