Chiefs vs Dolphins: Gameday Thread

Perhaps this game will be the biggest test for the defense. Offensively, the Chiefs are very explosive. Mahomes is in a category all by himself in my opinion. Moreover, his work at QB seems effortlessly. He is amazing to watch. His "star" shines brightly for sure, yet the rest of the Chiefs are terrific too. The whole team shines and it shows it with just one loss this season.

I am looking forward to watching this game and will be looking for big plays from our defenders to at least slow Mahomes down.

The game starts around 1 pm. We'll have to see who is playing what position, as it's hard to tell with all of the injuries of late.

Go Dolphins. Play like champions.

Colonel

It would seem that Gaskin is out, on the Covid list.
I'm not sure who's left.

Tomorrow is Dec. 13th and 13 has always been a magical number in Dolphin folklore. In addition, Flores is Miami's 13th Head Coach AND,, 13 was Tua's number at Alabama.
The movie, "The Thirteenth Warrior" was on a little while ago but, I didn't watch it.
Coupled with the alignment of Jupiter and Saturn it kinda makes you wonder.

Defense is playing tough. "Hands Up" Van Ginkle spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

Tua to Gesicki--kick--7 points. Terrific.

It's half time. Chiefs lead us by 4, 14-10.

The Defense is playing quite well, however, I sense the offense won't be able to stay with the Chiefs. While Gesicki is good, Parker is now hurt and may be out of the game or playing injured and unable to play well. We don't have a running game so the passing game is limited, really limited.

It's been a fun game to watch so far. I hope the Chiefs make a few more offensive mistakes so we keep the game close. We may have to depend on Sanders.

Go Dolphins--we can compete!!!!!

Well at least Houston is losing. We need to hit some home runs with those draft picks.

Chiefs are showing us how far we still have to go to be in competition for AFC champions. I think we should focus o the O in the 2021 draft.

TUAs INT was completely not his fault.

Players are injured, out with COVID, on top of it great passes are being dropped.

Our defense looks fantastic at times even with players injured (Van noy)

Lots to look forward to. We are playing the Superbowl champs , arguably the best team in the NFL and we held our own for a bit there. Patrick Mohommes looked almost pedestrian getting slammed setting up a 4th and 42!

These are not the same old Dolphins. This game is showing us exactly where we need to improve.

Including the change back to the old logo.......

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Writing this after Tua scored. Win or lose, I like the way Miami is playing

We just held our own with the best in the NFL with a depleted offense.

I hope Giesicki is all right....but that didn't look good.

TUA is playing like a champ.....but he definitely needs more help. He played great with literally no one .

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

My thoughts: The Dolphins are going places! They fought very hard, never quit, pushed to get more and came up short. Very pleased with the team and Xavien Howard who intercepted another pass which re-motivated the offense in the second half.

The offense is weakened because of all the injuries, yet they scored despite themselves. When the team has a full complement of players this team will be a top 6 NFL team. The offensive line is getting better and better and will be very good and strong line next season.

Flores has the team moving in the right direction. Player attitude is getting the "we can win" mind set and it is showing. Spunk, heart, grit...these guys are on the way.

The team will work very hard to beat the Patriots next week, I believe and I am looking forward to a victory.

Finally, Tua is coming along and had his first 300 yd passing game today. Good for him! thumbs up

Tua will be ok with some receivers that can catch the ball. Grant stinks. Tuas only problem is injuries.

Winning is better of course but we held our own with the best in the NFL. Our defense made the best QB in the NFL look like a 3 rd string rookie in the pre season. 30 yd sack!! TUA never gave up , looked confident until the end. That missed Field goal hurt us....but we were in it until the end.

Great game. We are going places. thumbs upsmileys with beer

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

I didn't expect Miami to be as competitive this season as they are, and I can honestly say that I am not ashamed of this loss to KC. This team is only going to get better as time passes.
