Friday August 22, 2014 Did you know Tua Tagovailoa and Josh Rosen went head to head in a high school game? Yep.....the stars aligned and Tua came into the game off the bench in his second varsity game ever. Rosen’s team won 63-14 in a blowout at Aloha stadium.

I think the big thing to take away from this is.......Tua didn't get hurt.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Tua turned into a gem and rosen turned into a worse version of tennehill.

And when you are worse than tannehill you are truly worse than trash.

LOL right? He doesn't get that. That no matter what he says about Tanny......I get the last laugh. (Cue evil laugh)


But Sam might be right in a way......Like Tannehill Rosen was a first rounder, fed to the wolves and stuck behind a horrid Oline.

Given all the New lineman we just acquired and the 2 new RBs Rosen might just do a turn around this year. We sit TUA and let Rosen show some promise behind our new revamped offense........Rosen could help us score another draft pick next season.

Well his agent may have something to say about that. If we can get value for him we do it. Not everybody is like Matt Moore and content being a clip board holder.

Yes.Rosen might surprise everyone this season. Somebody will need a decent QB, he can be a contender yet.

Tua will push Rosen, no doubt. Three QB's on a roster is perfectly fine and normal. I don't know if Tua will be QB2 or QB3 this season but only time will tell and that depends on his health.

I think there were two issues last year with Rosen:

1. A really poor offensive line which gave him no time
2. A pretty complicated offense which caused him to overthink when on the field.

There is a reason we changed offensive coordinators. Yes, Fitz was able to run the offense, but he's a 15-year veteran. Rosen is a smart kid but was woefully unprepared from college and the Cardinals to run the offense last year.

Rosen will have every opportunity to shine this year, either to actually win the job or improve his trade value

I totally agree with this ^^^

As it was, he was thrown to the wolves in AZ, then he comes here to a team where the situation wasn't any better for protection. I didn't even expect him to magically turn into a franchise QB. The coaching staff did the right thing by making him sit and not get hammered. I'm pretty sure they wanted to see what he could do and they did so I wasn't surprised at all when they kept him on the sideline.

I think this was his 3rd OC to learn a playbook from in the NFL? That's way too much for a very young QB to handle in this league. Now he's going to have Chan Gaily's offense to learn but at least there should be a better team around him this go round.

I saw the highlights of Tua when he was brought in off the bench. He lit it up and rest was history in the making.
