Former Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa posted a few workout clips to his Instagram account.

That hip looks like it’s in good shape



IF he gets a clean bill Three things could happen.

We get him with #5

Him being available brings the price on Burrows down some.

OR The price to move to #5 just went up.


Going to be an interesting draft.

But i wouldn't risk it.

My gut is telling me no.

But after Burrows, he may be the next best value. All the others wont be able to start for a while if at allz. Dolphins need to get the best Doctors on this. If we get him for #5 it's not that bad. But if another team wants him....we could get another 2nd rounder and 3 next year too......

None of us knows what the Fins will do in the first round, especially with the 5th pick, but Miami MUST be smart about it.

I hope Grier will be smart. Nine out of ten "EXPERTS" have Miami picking Tua. His injuries concern me. If Miami does take him at 5, he won,t play his first year; not ready for the pros and make sure he has enough time to ensure his hip is solid.

I would hate for Miami to pass on him and he turns out to be a franchise player and injury free. On the other hand, I would hate for Miami to take him and he gets to be known as "injury prone."

However, I would not TRADE UP for him. Miami needs to either stay at 5 or trade down, but not out of the top 10.

MY Sentiments exactly Cap! Take him if it costs us nothing ONLY.The risk reward is worth it because we already have so many additional picks. BUT it becomes paramount to build a line to protect him if we do. He wont take 130 sacks a season for 5 seasons like Tanny did.

He might not last 40. He cant run. He CAN be he needs to strongly advised against it. Teach him to get rid of the ball quickly. If he can read a defense quickly and fire off the ball.....thats stuff you just cant teach. That was Tannys biggest issue. Held on to the ball , he was all physical specimen.....he didn't have that quick read and release. He needed time and once he got it......BOOM. Probowl.

We take TUA we got to build him a line that protects him and plays to his abilities.

Hopefully we dont take tua. If we move up it should only be for burrows. But that will cost too much. Cinci will want too much.

Dont misunderstand chren i still belive stinks as a pocket qb. His release is slow and he locks on one receiver. If that single receiver is not open...consider it a sack.

I agree Sam. Which is why if we cant get a deal done for Burrows.....we need to drop back and get a QB at #18. But rolling the dice on Tua isnt crazy either because of his possible upside and we still have 2 more 1st rounders.But YES dont move up for him!!! Only at #5.

If we do trade back I think the best trade back would be with the Raiders. Trade 5 for 12 and 19 and take Love at 12. I think he needs a year to get ready but I believe he could be a high quality QB for us.

Im would not mid trading back like ceda mentions. I don't want to draft Tua at #5. He goes on to be a hall of famer so be it. My inclinations that injuries have followed him in college they will also occur in the nfl where the players are bigger and stronger.

Grier has some tough choices ahead of him.

Thats a mouthfull. As much as we all look back at Drew Breeze with such distain , you really cant blame not taking him with the shoulder injury and after what we saw happen to Chad Pennington .
