COVID impact on 2020 season

I dont foresee Rookie mimi-camp or mini-camps in May and June. I would imagine training camp gets pushed back.

For a team like the Dolphins with so many new players, will the team have enough time to gel?

I think the NFL could adapt to this virus issue by means of pushing everything further back including the start of the season, even if it's 4-6 weeks. Bye week for all teams could also be eliminated unless the players union objects.

IMO doing away with mini camps is bad, a lack of physical conditioning for players could be detrimental causing more injuries at the start of the season. Every bit of conditioning and training helps.

So do it closed to the public. The interaction between the public and players could be deadly.
