This is a bit of a head scratcher. He's 33 and currently on IR and wouldn't be eligible to play until week 15. Also, he'll be a free agent next year. As I understand it, Miami acquires Talib and a 2020 5th round pick for a future draft pick. No mention of what that future pick is. If it's a 7th rounder, okay.. maybe I get it. They're buying a 5th round pick and are paying the last year of Talib's salary as compensation to the Rams. If it's anything more than that, I don't get it.

Don't jump om HIS horse, TC. Your past position has NOT been to package 6th and 7th round picks TO SELL like you are NOW saying...but to pick more players there in those late rounds.
In the most obvious salary dump since Cleveland took on Brock Osweiler and his $11 million dollar salary for a second round draft choice.... we got a 5th for a 7th and a good player very familiar with our head coach.... I know he is injured but I think he may stick around next year ..... i think its a great trade
Front office is doing a good job of collecting guys to evaluate for the future, Charlton, Biegel, Boehm, Nkemdiche etc. Some of those guys panning out allows us to focus on other positions in the draft. First 3 on that list looks like part of the solution hope Nkemdiche pans out. Rosens is part of that group would like to see him get inserted as the starter again after the next 1 or 2 games.

If Rosen doesn't start soon, then we know for sure that Rosen will be gone after the season. Miami will get a QB in the upcoming draft, but depending on where Pitt ends up, will determine when that QB is chosen, in my humble opinion, of course.
