This is a moderated phorum for the CIVILIZED discussion of the Miami Dolphins. In this phorum, there are rules and moderators to make sure you abide by the rules. The moderators for this phorum are JC and Colonel.
The Brian Flores journey begins. Our newest era of Miami Dolphins football...success needs to be judged by player progress...the standouts, who plays hard, who blocks well, who runs and breaks tackles, who gains yardage after the first hit, who tackles, who covers passes, who puts pressure on the opposing QB etc.
Winning the battles on each play comes first and in time, those winning battles will turn into winning games.
All of our fan expectations are very low. I personally see a 3-13 season. Anything better than that will be a surprise. Since it is game day, my fan comment, without reservation is: GO DOLPHINS!
I've never had lower expectations than I do for this year. I knew we'd stink last year but my only hope for this year is that we don't go winless (which I really think is possible). I understand the whole tanking plan but it's still disheartening knowing your team has no chance at doing anything except getting the number one overall draft pick. Tua had better be a damn great NFL QB because this year will be painful to watch.
On the bright side...there's only one way for the Dolphins to go and that's up.
Aside from the JJ debacle in the play off game that scored 62 points, this Ravens game is the worst throttling at home.
We know it's going to be like this with many good teams. The Dolphins play the Patriots next week. I can't imagine BB wanting to take it easy on his former assistant...to the contrary. I expect another throttling so BB can look at Flores with a steely glance that says, "you'll never be as good as me."

Then hopefully in a few years Flores can say to him "wanna bet"
On the oline we started a guard at LT a rookie and 2 ol who were not on the team 2 weeks ago. Not much room for play calling for OC.
Even with Tunsil Im not sure we would have been in this game. Its going to be a long season but you know what to expect. Im tired of the pursuit of mediocrity. Clean house and start over. Any veterans that wants out give them a one way ticket because we were not winning with him.
