I tried it yesterday and my official positon is that Landshark beer is very average at best.

It's not as good as Corona and that's says something....because Corona isn't very good as these things go.

Thats said, if all you are looking for is a casual drink by the pool it'll do that.

There are much better beers out there...to each his own though.

To each his own. However, personally, I couldn't disagree with you more on Landshark not being as good as Corona. I used to drink Corona sometimes. I first tried Landshark a little over a year ago and I haven't had many Coronas since. I don't really bother unless there is nothing else.

For me Landshark tastes like what a Corona should taste like given it's popularity. For me, Landshark has more of a full body and a first bite (almost a crisp nutty flavor as weird as that may sound) that packs a lot more taste than Corona. Corona just tastes sooo watered down to me I can't pick up on any flavor from it after drinking Landsharks over the past year.

Well this has nothing to do with the Dolphins but I must say that you guys are just to entertaining at times.
Ghotirule, please tell me that you didn't really pay $5 for a Starbucks.

Anyway, another little story about coffee.
We have a coffee roasting company here named, The Scotish Roaster. Maybe you have heard of them. Owned by two brothers from Scottland.
We did some burner work for them when they first opened up and got them out of some trouble with production. I liked them and their coffee so we took the bill out in trade and received about $650 worth of coffee over the next two years. We still buy from them wholesale. Great Coffee, and the price is right.

So I am attending a dinner party the other night and to my surprise I am offered my first Fat Tire. Not bad. Talk about synchronicities.

Weizen Bier is one of my all time favorites...Tucher being arguably the best of the best.

Their Dunkles Heife Weizen is simply superb. Their regular Heife and Kristal varieties are very, very good too...a slice of lemon is another good touch and is the way the Germans usually drink it.

Another superb bier is Einbecker. The dark is the best but the regular is good too.

And for the people that may be able to find it, EKU version 28 is well worth the trouble.

Heife Weizen. The beer of choice for the sidewalks of Amsterdam.

It'd be nice if Landshark made a Heife Weizen. That would make a great gameday.

I tried a Landshark on Saturday, because all they had in the ice cooler was Corona and Landshark, and some other kind of mexican beer. Digging in the ice, I was disappointed at my options, but figured this is my chance to try Landshark. Because I sure as hell wasn't going to drink Corona.

Landshark pretty much sucks. You might as well drink the Corona, it's just as bad.

Man I was missing a Heineken or something drinkable.

This might not be politically correct, but I really don't like the idea of taking a ladies taste for beer seriously.drinking smiley

Won't get any Phin news till I get back, so keep the post comming.

As beers go, it kind of sucks. However, I am going to willingly fall for the marketing ploy. I have also bought a parrot, covered my family room with sand and hired a calypso band to play Buffet and Estefan songs during halftime.

I just walk out to the beach in my back yard. There are already wild parrots, plenty of sand and usually a band playing at a nearby bar but I am usually drinkin Bud Light Lime and tequila.
