I cant blame gase for all of this horrible mess, just like i cant blame any single player. That being said, i think gase is just horrible as a play caller. I dont know what everyone thinks, but i cant figure out how he designs a lateral pass when its 3rd and 10 or why the hell when we need 8 yrds does he consistantly call for a 4yrd pass I mean i just cant handle his nonsense. I think its great we were 3-0 now 3-1. but if anyone thinks we were that record because we are good, your mistaken, its because the other teams just flat out suck more than us, when we play good teams or face good coaching we somehow throw up all over ourselves. I am not chalking this year up yet believe me, but the reality bubble needs to be looked at and some better play calling and designs are much needed if we are going to compete with the good teams.
Our offensive line is absolutely terrible. How do you run the ball when the second you hand the ball to the back, he's hit by multiple defenders? Seriously, I doubt that Walter Payton in his prime could run behind this line. Once Sitton was out, this line has regressed into the worst line this team has fielded in a long time. Given the crappy lines we've had in years past, that's saying a mouthful.
