So no Stayfree or Kotex Stadium, huh? I just wish they'd stop naming it. I liked Joe Robbie stadium. How about Don Shula stadium?

You're all crazy. This is a marriage between two amazing things in my life: The Miami Dolphins and Landshark. How the hell can you not like this? Landshark (though HIGHLY underrated) is the $hit. I've done nothing but celebrate since I found out that this was really going to happen. I think it's hilarious that my disrespected and overlooked favorite beer was somehow able to join forces with my beloved Dolphins

Maybe we can get Al Pacino to come and give a speech to the players about a game of inches?

I don't like it. I would prefer they build a Seaworld type them park all around the stadium and call it 'Aquatic Stadium'.

Ross has plenty of cash....why not just keep it Miami Dolphins stadium?

Can't he, the owner, charge the team a fee for naming rights and take a bigger slice of the pie for himself, also reducing the amount of revenue that the team has to share with the league?

I don't like Landshark

I couldn't care less if they called it "football stadium" or "the stadium" as long as the Phins win.

its JOE ROBBIE STADIUM to me....

realist--I would prefer they build a Seaworld type them park all around the stadium and call it 'Aquatic Stadium'.

that would be cool. addditionally they could add a waterpark element so that when we score a TD (and the temp is above 80) sprinklers shoot water into the air and all over us. Can you picture more Dolfan babes in their bikinis jumping up and down in the spray.

omg.. what if it sprayed LANDSHARK BEER instead

Yeah, but all the rowdy fans would throw stuff in the water (beer, etc.), and pretty soon you'd have dead floating fish. Jets fans would never let us live that down.

An Anheuser Busch product, associated with Jimmy Buffet?

Crap beer, crap music.

There is no God.

I know I'm in the minority on this, but good heavens.

the AQUARIUMS would have to be covered. And I didnt say they had to have DOLPHINS. But C'MON...

The new mARLINS STADIUM should put in articial reef tanks and make it a year-round attraction.

Isn't all beer made by the sponsors of the NFL crap anyway (Bud, Miller, Coors)?

True. the better products are by smaller breweries who don't have the budgets for things like this. I see why A-B is involved.

But Buffet? I think they're targeting the wrong audience/demographic here. But at least they are trying *something* to attract people and enhance the game-day experience, so I do want it to succeed. Whatever puts more butts in the seats, I guess.

I hate it. It has nothing to do with the sponsor.....just the name doesnt really match well with our name. Landshark and Dolphins dont really go good togethor.

Crap music....maybe. Crap beer???? Sir, I challenge you to a dual! You must be out of your mind! Landshark is an under rated, under appreciated, casually and baselessly written-off beverage that is more importantly, one of the only Lagers on the market these days that doesn't taste like watered down piss.

Taking your insane "there is no god" opinion about this miracle marriage into consideration, I'd expect you to wince in disgust at delicious Maine Lobsters (you probably think they're just ugly seas-cockroaches) and/or opt for a movie theater hot dog over a perfectly cooked Kobe Beef fillet. And Yes, these are perfect metaphors for your violent disapproval of this recent 1 year Landshark Stadium deal. The beer is comparable if not vastly more delectable than these things. Clearly I'm not exaggerating here.

Yes, listening to Jimmy Buffet's music on loop may be enough to cause an otherwise healthy and rational person to claw his own eyes out, Event Horizon style, (I should know I worked at a 'Cheeseburger in Paradise' a Jimmy Buffet themed restaurant one summer) but don't confuse his hackneyed Islandi-music B.S. with his awe-inspiring Landshark Lager creation, of which I've begun trying to work into the naming process that will arise when it comes time to name my first born.

Sharks are natural enemies of Dolphins, so I don't quite get it. Why would we want a big predator fin at the top of the stadium? It would be different if we were called the Miami Sharks.

A 'dual' what? Dual citizenship? No, I'm not ready to flee the country over it yet...it's not THAT bad. Just some stoner who can't sing and a sorry beer grinning smiley

I'll take your word for what piss tastes like, but honestly I'd never heard of this product until recently. I tend to not like many products from the major breweries. But then again, A-B brews Kirin Ichiban and does a good job, so maybe it's worth a try.

and you'd be dead wrong. I live in New England and feast on those tasty critters as often as I can.

Never had either. And I won't get into a lengthy discussion on how those Kobe cattle are treated: hand massaged, yet force-fed beer (probably not Landshark) and overfed until they become diabetic. That's for the Michael Vick thread eye popping smiley

Yes, Perfect and Clearly

There ya go, see? You're not entirely wrong after all spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

Obviously, this is all in good fun.
I don't care if they play flatulence noises over the P.A. and name it the Toilet Bowl, as long as it helps the team, I'm in. I was just shocked at the direction they chose, that's all.

It's no different than our own fans referring to our own team as "the Fish". Dolphins are neither fish nor sharks, but don't try to inject logic into this whole thing.

You know how sharks circle their prey? I keep envisioning our Dolphins surrounded by 'sharks' (read: fans of the visiting team that fill our stadium) at home games. Hey, maybe it's more accurate than I thought!

I am about the football, but it sounds fun. The marketing works because I am going try to find some Landshark beer today. I'll let you know if I agree with you Panteraize.

Damn these times of the year when Dolphin football news is so scant. Bring on the preseason so that we don't have to endure these threads about beer, lobsters, and everyone's favorite baseball teams.

Just call it the "Shark Tank"

And with Pat White running the Wildcat, we can rename it the "Great White Shark Attack"

We were the first NFL team to come up with the idea. Thank goodness for DH.

We were as good because of this idea. Much better than i expected.

A couple of rookies starting on th OL. A new QB and No receivers. Dan Henning made chicken salad of chicken DODO.
