I think they would have to give up a 2nd. 4th and a 1st next year to move up that far.
It's a tough call. I don't like the QBs in next years draft. Do you give up that much for Mayfield or do you trade back into the bottom of the first if Rudolph is still there?

You can't play football like that. We need to draft quality CB. Have a better defense.
okay folks I am all for drafting a solid defense and I realize this is very important. I am not saying to get a QB either, what I am saying is you better do something on offense because you cannot expect the defense to keep every team under 10 pts and our offense doesnt score many times and now we dont even have a kicker. So uhhhhh figure it out.

I can play this anyway you want. ZERO? I seem to remember Tannehill kicking ass on a 6 game winning streak before he got injured. Don't blame last seasons mess on him.
You cant draft a player just because you don't want another team to get him. And besides WTF ARE WE TALKING ABOUT? The Jets have moved up to #3. They can draft whoever the F they want. Are you seriously per posing we give up enough picks to move to #2!?
You draft the best player available for YOU. We need a better pass defense. Let them get whoever.
So you want to sacrifice the present for the future? Again....that's not how the game is played. Each year you get the best players available to you. Then you set off to win ballgames. QB is a secondary need. Address it later on. 4th round. Get your priorities and fill holes. More picks are better to accomplish this.

All iam saying is maybe the jets are not sold on mayfield and he falls to number 11 spot. You never know.
There's no way that this team has the draft picks necessary to move to #2. Plus, I still think the jets are taking Rosen. My guess is that Buffalo moves up to #6 and takes Mayfield. Buffalo has the necessary draft picks to even move to #2 if they want to pay the stiff price.

Here's the man who condemns everything our front office does and yet he relies on them to trade away a top pick, pass on our QB of the future, move down and draft other positions to help the team.

I don't have the stats in front of me, but it would be rare if Miami's offense, led by RT, will put up donuts on the board. RT was doing well until he hurt his knee. Put that production with a solid defense, and many games will be won. RT is not Marino, so the question is can he keep leading his team from behind because of a poor defense?
Look at Marino. His offense was always one of the best. Where did that get him? One Super Bowl! His D could not control the opposing team's D. Just one quick example....Marino vs O'Brien and the Jets. I believe Miami scored in the 50 range...AND LOST!!! That isn't the only game where that happened.
So that's what I am saying. The defense has to be strong.

Say what you want, Chryen and Sam, but I agree with Treasure.

Your absolutely right. Maybe they will pick another punt returner......
We've been stung so many times by first round selections, it is no wonder we come ready to fight when it comes down to this decision of the draft. Dion James, the Tedd Ginn "family", Billy Milner, no-pick-for-years Wanny, Jamar Fletcher, Vernon Carey...ugh..... it is enough to make any fan scream - When will this nightmare end?
Luckily, I think the selections have been better in recent years- and nah I don't think Baker is a lock to do anything, I'm not worried about him. None of these guys are locks, they are just a dream within a dream. Hope lady luck smiles on us this year.
I'm a BPA guy, but if one of those heralded QBs are out there, I won't mind dreaming of the possibility of the next hall of famer leading us to a super bowl victory.

Does it have to be a HOFer? I'll settle for just the Championship.
Your right I don't know the future. But I know REALITY. I suggest you come back to it or be forever disappointed. A feel good moment on draft day won't get us a championship. Smart draft choices will.
