Enjoy the draft. I hope you get your player , it won't change a goddamed thing , in fact if we move up it will ensure this QB isn't successful either. I can guarantee it. But enjoy the day you selfish pricks.......
TCPF, you have, as I remembered, always disliked OurLads.
However, their final magazine Pre-Draft April issue has, according to either their likes or prognostication, us picking a linebacker at no. 11, just like you have argued for.
support tranny?? All this team has done is kiss his ass and given him a million chances. 6years bud, 6 freaking yrs 100mil and the 8th pic in the draft and he still sucks the big eggplant. I am sorry but really if you aint got it after all this time, you sure as hell aint finding it now. I think the guy has heart and is as tough as they come, but so was fiedler and well you see the name. I am speaking for myself here, I am not a selfish prick looking for a quick fix, what I am searching for Is the qb that will be awesome 3 yrs from now when the rest of the team has been built around him and they have all learned the game and system for perfection. I surely dont believe with this team a rookie can come in an blaze the trail to the playoffs, but i sure no if we dont get one, we are counting on tanny to be great and healthy which he isnt either, and osweiler...enough said. Get a qb and train him and teach him and let him learn this year. I will take 3 and 13 knowing my qb will be better next year especially with a better draft around him.

That makes wayyyyyyyy to much sense Ken for these people. They want thier little April draft fix to hold them to make them feel better for the summer. A safe space for Dolphins fans...
And that was stupid too...you do need to take qb's...obvious journeymen won't get it done either. We've been one or the other for a decade and a half and that does not work...gotta be a blend to be successful.

Shitty draft picks. Not Tannys fault. Shitty coaching, distractions....the answer isn't a new QB. It's better draft picks, solid coaches and stop with the distractions.....bullygate, hookergate, etc.
Tranny does not need a better supporting cast, what he needs is a new profession or atleast a team that will use him for what he is a WR. Oh shit my bad, he has blown wheels so woops. Seriously tho tanny will never be a good qb with this team, he is a scrambler a roll out specialist and its not what this dink and dunk offense is. He cannot feel the pocket he cannot read the d fast enough to be a passer. Its really that simple, now I am not saying all our players were good but he did have the most expensive line in front of him, kenny stills landry rb all those positions and he still sucked, so what does he need?? kellen winslow, dorsett, walker, the 70s phin line, I mean he just is not an elite qb. I am not an athlete at all but if i had the perfect players around me, i am sure i would be good too. Time to move on from this version of crap.
TC I agree with you. Our best case is to trade back and get more picks. One player will not magically fix us, me need more pieces.
I really believe that most players(that's over 50% for everyone who wants to give me an example) become real good in this league because of the situation they are placed in. A star player on one team may be mediocre on another.
If we can find a trading partner, trade back, get best player that fits a need, pick up a third, swing for the fence there with a QB, (the kids from Marshall, Richmond and Memphis can play and should be available)

Some folks on this board continue to slam RT. How many times has the guy passed for 4,000 yards? How about 3,000 yards? Didn't he take a record away from Marino a few years back?
I agree with Treasure...get RT a good surrounding cast and let's see what he can do. On paper, this year's OLine seems to be the best he has had...ever! He lost his comfort zone in Landry, but hopefully he will find another one (Parker or maybe a new TE?).
If RT's OLine is solid (I didn't say spectacular) and his running game is consistent, we will then find out how good or bad he is.
Miami will draft a QB, and possibly in the second round (Mayfield?). I highly doubt one of the top 4 will drop to Miami at 11. If one does, there may be a team or two behind Miami that would want to trade up for that QB. If no one does, or the offer(s) is not good enough, then Miami has to decide what they want to do...draft a future QB (that probably will not see the field for quite a while) or go with a position that will be on the field right away. Miami is going to have some good options at 11 when the run on QBs happens.
