Tannehill should be pissed off right about now.

Whether you like Tannehill or not, Tannenbaum has screwed him royally for the upcoming season. He's taken away his most reliable receiver and best third down safety valve. Who is going to be the go to guy on 3rd and 7 or 8? Parker? That's a joke. I doubt Parker will even play 16 games because he's due for a paper cut or runny nose that will keep him out for at least half the season. Stills is a good deep threat but his hands are not exactly reliable. Jakeem Grant? Um.. nope. Carroo? LOL. If this wasn't enough, the cap mess that Tannenbaum created will prevent the team from upgrading what was a disaster of an offensive line last year. Juwan James is gone. Enter Jessie Davis or Sam Young as the likely successor. When Pouncy inevitably goes down, the cupboard is bare of any competent backup. Tannehill is going to get pounded this year. Whoever is the backup QB better get ready and by get ready, I mean make sure his health insurance is paid up. It's almost as if Tannenbaum's objective is to make this team as bad as possible ala the movie Major League. The lady who owned the Indians in that movie should've hired Tannenbaum to destroy the roster. He's the best at destroying franchises.
If they're planning on adding an o lineman through free agency, they've got a crap load of cap space they'll need to clear. As far as any o lineman in the draft, this is the same geniuses that picked Asiata who wasn't good enough to get playing time on the worst o line in the league. This team is a train wreck waiting to happen. No way they make it out of single digit wins. The only saving grace would be if it causes Tannenbaum and Grier to get fired but I'm not betting that Ross is smart enough to pull the trigger on that regardless of how bad the record is.

Honestly, Treasure, I think they may really get him hurt badly this year. This offensive line is positively putrid. Add that to the fact that Tannehill has a tendency to sometimes hold the ball too long (and he won't have Landry to bail him out) it's a recipe for disaster. Putting as much money into your defensive line when your offensive line isn't even as good as most major college o lines is incompetence at its worst. There is NO reason whatsoever that Tannenbaum still has a job in football. NONE. The jets must be laughing their asses off at us.
