What do you guys think about breaking the bank this off season and getting Cousins, who will be a FA? Obviously some serious cap gymnastics would have to occur and many players would have to be moved and restructured.
Toko, I think the concern is that either Tannehill will not be back or will not be good after the injury to the knee. I always said he was better out of the pocket and was a terrible pocket QB anyway.

I give the Skins credit for having some insight -
They drafted Cousins during the same draft as RGIII. Were they smart enough to know that RGIII wouldn't last very long? They traded the house & barn to draft RGIII at #2 overall but still drafted a 2nd QB as well. I find that pretty interesting, especially since it seemed to work out for them in the long run.
I'm not for going after Cousins in free agency, I'd rather see what Tanny has in his tank after his recovery. I would rather see this organization prove that they have an eye for talent, that they're capable of finding a future successor to RT17 and build him up on their own. Sadly I have very little faith that those in charge are even capable of being able to fill the needs that this team has NOW, let alone the future of it. The OL & LB are definitely immediate needs. As fans we've been saying that for years so why has nothing changed?
We had already seen what RT is. The question is whether Gase can do great things with RT. I doubt it. The offense did okay last year because of the run game.
Dude was a project that Philbin developed and he did great. He gave us the qb. But he is not good enough, we need better. But most of all we need better coaching.
The best QBs available at the time, Luck and Griffin.....did no better.worse as a matter of fact. If Tanny returns back to his pre injury self he is more then good enough to run a championship team.

Miami's QB issue(s) for 2018 are, at best, "iffy."
Will RT be 100%?
Will Moore still be the backup (pretty sure he will)?
Will Cutler still be on the roster (doubtful)?
If RT is back to full health, release Cutler. Keep Moore on the roster. Draft a QB in the second round and develop him for the future, or....if he turns out to be a stud, RT's immediate replacement (if RT is only playing good).

We cant waste any draft picks on a QB. Because a few good lineman will help make Tanny great again.
NJ, VA and MD are all blue states to begin with. VA because of the proximity of Northern VA to DC and all the bleeding heart Liberals that live there. It is more populous then most of VA.
I live in VA so I know...Trust me you go anywhere but Northern VA and you see nothing but MAGA and Trump signs everywhere.
It would be more of an upset had the Rep. won those states then how shocking that a Dem won. Doesn't change anything my friend. Now I just sit back and wait for my state taxes to rise and more sanctuary cities for me to pay for. Glad I live in the country and still able to carry my gun with me...
And BTW did you see the Dem's campaign video depicting a white man in a truck with a confederate flag in the back chasing down kids of all different races...I have lived in this area for 17 years and not once have I seen anything remotely close to this before. It was sickening. Politicians are all scum...no matter the side they are on.
But back to football...I hate picking OL in the first because of the boring factor but I think that is where we need to go as well. Any QB cannot play without a competent line to protect him.
Linemen play one on one. They will get beat, happens all over the league. The key is to play well as a unit and with the backfield. That goes to coaching and skill positions.
Second, two of the best guards in the league, Ronald Leary and Andrew Norwell were undrafted. IT is much easier to find interior linemen in UDFA than skilled players, linemen are available and skilled players not so much.
