It isn't stupid...we were terrible with tackling last year and to tackle well and be more physical you gotta do it. Just a fluke incident. I just hope he won't miss an extended amount of time and that he's ready to go week one.
Backs like Ayayi crave contact and like to deliver punishment as much as take it. He is going to stay banged up. We have to take what we can get each game from him. I am also disappointed to see Storm Johnson and the rookie from Michigan on the side line. Both play w/ power and I think that one of them would be a camp surprise.
Drake is a gazelle and Williams a swiss army knife, we now have questions at power in our running game.
I believe Drake will have an awesome year and be much more productive than Ajayi overall. He has the speed and talent to be a very very good RB. He just needs the rock and a small hole and he will be fine. Problem is I dont know if our line can create a crack big enough for a mouse to run thru.
Poor kid (Ajayi), we tried to use him like Larry Csonka. He is tough to be sure and probably our best power guy since Larry but I would have like to have seen him more on pitch outs and short passes when he got the ball in space. Then he would have been ten times harder to bring down.
