I grew up in Queens, so this is a big game for me too. Jet's were named the Titans then...Dolphins have always been my team since their beginning. Go Dolphins!!
I'm not from NY....but grew up around a bunch of y'all who moved to Miami and always rooted for the Jest. Needless to say, it was easy to grew up hating the Jets (and the Yankees, etc.).
Queens huh Colonel? I'm a Staten Island boy. I got into it daily with Jets fans. Learned the hard way never to put any Dolphins logos on my car.
I was a Dolphins fan early on, around 72' . They were the biggest then and it impacted me. I was also a Steelers fan, My dad was anti pro sports because he never got over his beloved Dodgers leaving Brooklyn. So I was kinda on my own for a while and just really loved Miami and the Mets. Hate the Yankees with a passion also JC!
But dad has come around and I made him a fan 35 yrs ago after he saw my passion. I actually went to Dolphins games at the Mets old Shea Stadium in Queens!
Dolphins won't let Ryan Tannehill or us down today.
My family moved to Florida in 1964. Before then, I watched the Dodgers play at Ebbets Field until they moved. That was a sad day for Dodgers' fans. National League baseball fans had no teams in NY and it was hard to follow the Dodgers in LA. I did get to see them play at the Coliseum in 1959. When the new franchise "Mets" arrived they played at the Polo Grounds. My buddies, we went there to see the Dodgers and Giants beat up on the Mets. As I remember it, those outings were memorable. We'd go to double-headers--to get out money worth--had a blast. Tickets were reasonable and cutting a few lawns would get you reserve seats. We'd leave early in the morning and be gone all day.
Football was not a big deal for me or my baseball playing buddies. We paid no attention to basketball and "What the heck was hockey?" The only sport that existed for us was baseball (and stickball).
When football arrived in Florida it was a godsend. Finally a sports franchise that could earn a following and the deprived northerners like me were ready for it. Go Dolphins...a long time chant of optimism and unity.

I know but i see no difference between moore or tannehill...Same ol same ol.......4 or 5 drives to start a game without any points.
Notice he always misses by kicking too much to the left??????
Even that one game when the ball was lined up way to the left and one would think that he might kick it too far to the right and the clown still missed to the left.
