So, on WQAM they're talking about how Jay Ajayi did NOT travel with the team to Seattle because he's unhappy he's not starting. Arian Foster was named the starter.
No word on if this was a player or coach's decision.
It obviously isn't good to hear that Ajayi is pouting about losing his job. I do like that Gase isn't going to put up players being selfish and not doing what is the best for the team.
Ajayi should have been starting last year. Adrian would have had the job last year had he not got injured. Adrian looks better. Stupid Philbin cost Ajayi his real chance to be a starter.

I think his immaturity NOW proves he wasn't ready last year. This kid needs to grow up.
Miller is 1000 times better than ajayi.......Ayayi is on his way to been a bust because of his attitude and he didnt had a good pre season at all. (((( Hope iam wrong on him ))) But not looking good.
Adrian foster needs to stay healthy thats the knock on him. I wish we still had miller.

I feel like foster is going to get hurt like that rb we had from denver a couple years ago....He was beasting bigtime then he fell on his hand and he was done.
If that guys stayed healthy we would had made some noise running the football.
Sounds pretty close to throwing spaghetti on the wall because others called you a name. I'm glad Gase took care of it instead of scape goating another player to "toughen " him up
And I bet if Lamar goes to another team and is used PRECISELY IN THE WAY I SAID....GETTING THE BALL ON A PITCHOUT OR PASS IN SPACE and becomes spectacular you guys will not have enough sense to see IT'S THE WAY HE WILL THEN BE BEING USED INSTEAD OF HOW VALUABLE HE IS.
You can't use a fork to rake a yard and you can't use a rake to eat your food off your plate. Can't you guys even see???????????????????????
Re my earlier post, article on NFL.com confirms Jay has only hurt his feelings. What a crybaby.
If I were a young, unproven RB, I'd be counting my blessings that I made any NFL roster. Then, if my team signed a veteran ahead of me on the depth chart who had questionable durability, I would embrace the opportunity to have a mentor on my team and would be eager to learn behind him and be ready to step in if he got hurt.
When I first saw an interview with Ajayi last year, I was really impressed with what I *THOUGHT* was a healthy attitude. I now take that back, until he proves otherwise. C'mon Jay, play the game as a team member.
Is Hillman still out there? Bring him in this team needs players that are ready to go. We are on the cusp of turning it around and we don't have time to wet nurse hurt feelings.

I say bring back Daniel Thomas. He played well in the preseason.

Yes, Thomas did play well.
With Ajayi in the dog house, Pead hurt, and Williams not that good of a back, Foster is going to need someone to help in the running game.
(Almost) guaranteed that Thomas would have picked up that 4th and inches.
