Watching Alonzo at LB--he's showing me nothing.

Grant has the quickness to play and return punts and kicks. Thumbs up to him.

Cameron missed a pass for a TD.

Unity doesn't exist on D at this point.

OL is not really improved, as far as I can tell right now.

Defense so far sweeze cheese......Offense got better when they played tunsil and changed the other guard.......Both played with the first team and tannehill had more time tothrow the football.

Brandon albert gets beat like a scrub....pouncey injured......Tannehill can take a punch....he is tough.

Looks like the phins are getting to the cowboys nerves...two fights already......Cowboys penalties so far....Pouncey back at center....thats good to hear...

Tannehill td to stills...should have 2....but our tend stinks....

Oline giving tannehill more time to throw.......All day on that pass....looks like we have the guards already could anybody see if it was bushrod and tunsil inthere on that td pass?????

TANNY!!!!!!! Thats my boy. He got drilled , the Cowcheats got a roughing the passer penalty and he still made the play and scored on the drive. Was that bomb earlier good enough for you Sam Sam? Wet Firecracker this....... No running game. Oline is Pass protecting but opening no holes.

Our Corners still suck like Monica Lewinsky on a job interview though......Terrible.

The D is still not doing much. Corners are not playing well.

Stills has shown promise with a TD and long pass completion thus far. His extra practice looks like he's improved.

Agree--no holes for RBs. O-line not showing improvement of any consequence. Maybe next week.

Aside from penalties, observation is that Cowboys have their next QB with this rookie QB. He can pass in and out of pocket and runs very well too. Cowboys look more like a team than we do at this point in the season.

Who said last week Doughty was our future?

He got all the weapons to make it happens no excuses....He can throw on the run.....He finnally shows some sign of making it happen with his feet. Lets see how long that lasts.

Guy always made it happen. 4000 yds with No Oline. A defense as porous as a spaghetti strainer. Always got up.

Now you will see what hes capable of with some decent coaching .

Only one wet is you Sammy. find something else to complain about.

I saw last year as well.


Out of the playoffs 4 years in a row. And the wet firecracker cant play well in the 4th once.

Did we start training camp yesterday?!

Our starting units played like steaming hot garbage...

Treasure, you spend all your time complaining about the defensive line but after years and years and thousand of years the damn Dolphins have spent on drafting OFFENSIVE line, offensive line, offensive line, they still suck.

Yet Treasure, they spend one high draft choice on Dion Jordan and you were all over it.

I criticized tanny for being a deer in the headlights but after all, everytime he goes back there is a semi-monster truck coming right after him. So I'm beginning to have more sympathy for him.

WTF is up with the offensive line that gave NONE OF THE QUARTERBACKS any time to even breathe.....................let alone complete any passes.

Don't look at the lopsided score....

There's little continuity going on. Many players are missing blocks, tackles and in the wrong position to do much. When they are in position, the opposing player beats them.

Lots have to improve in the next week or two so that we have a possibility of winning the first game of the season. Right now things don't look too promising. On the other hand...Cowboys look pretty darn good. Prescott is a handful.

Dallas looks like a team ready for the regular season.

Dude. Please re read my posts. I have been saying straight the entire off season......GET MORE OFFENSIVE LINE DEPTH. OUR OLINE SUCKS. Its been my mantra for years. Everytime they diss Tanny I state how can he play with such a bad line?

Our starters did a decent job pass protecting tonight. But they opened no holes for RB lanes. The scrubs...the depth got Matt Moore taken out.
First injury we get to the Oline......we are done. But Tanny looked great. He took a few hits and got right back up. Completed passes when needed, scored in the Red Zone against a decent Dallas starting defense.

Dion Jordon........Please. That wasn't a high draft pick bro. it was TWO high picks. I knew it the minute he was drafted. I was sure of his suckieness. Did he even play this pre season? Fing Joke.

I just remember the Dion Jordan complaint. but I'll take your word for it.

RT slow start, but got better, even if it was against the twos. That's an improvement over last week's play.

QB play got better as the Oline play got better during the second drive. This Oline may not be able to accomplish what Gase's system requires in the run game. Run blocking was non existent. Gase may have to run more zone blocking out of spread like Lazor did to create space and give OL a chance. This OL cannot move people.

Pead again looked like the best RB, one that can take it the distance and find creases to run through.

WRs were inconsistent. Not a big deal. It looks like timing is off a bit and they are unable to create much space with these new routes.

I was surprised Gase did not try screens with Grant.

Defense is still awful against the run. I don't think this will get fixed this season or under this regime. The hope are Phillips and Suh. The rest of front 7 offer no hope.

Unlike last week, DBs were awful tonight. They had no answer for anything the Cowboys tried, be it a slant, a comeback, a sit route, or the Dak Prescott back shoulder pass which is the talk of the NFL this preseason.

The second unit again showed up with energy. They played well to the point that a fan can wonder whether there is any difference between the starter and the backups on our defense. That's not good.


Grant played well but nothing to write home about.

Overall, offense looked improved, defense not so much. This is a bad team, and it may be poorly coached too. Expectatins for the season? We will suck.

Dak Prescot has qb instincts. If the play wasn't there me moved out of the pocket and made something happen or avoided the pressure. Tannehill just doesn't have that.

Vance Joseph looks like another Kevin Coyle in over his head bengals DB coach.

Kiko Alonso looks like a DB playing MLB.

If this team wants to have any chance whatsoever they need to scour the waiver wire on final cuts and look for an LB or two, a DB, and C.

That first half was all I could handle watching and changed the dial.
This is officially a rebuild team with years of work ahead to be anywhere near ready to compete in the division. All hope of seeing immediate miraculous measured progress is now clearly confirmed "dilusional".
At the mid-point of pre-season...you can look at the schedule here and see this team, with what they've displayed to date, have a slight chance at a 4 and 12 record barring anymore injuries, and that is being generous.
Nothing has changed since last year. Sure...new faces, but same product on game day. A couple wow plays to keep you hoping...then the reality of another runaway loss.
I could be wrong... but sadly...I doubt it.

I won't read too much into a preseason game BUT I have no confidence in Tannenbaum's ability to assemble talent. Also have my doubts about a head coach who's never been a head coach before at any level. I'm rapidly coming around to the opinion that until Ross sells the team, we'll continue to lose. At least I won't have any expectations to have dashed this year.
