If we are able to do this....remember when pouncey was playing guard last year or the year before how well the OLine played....

Satelle was the center.....And satelle didnt had much left........

And if there is a center in the first round then get him....

IMHO the Oline is the main reason this team fails to make playoffs every year............

And tannehill but ill give him the benefit of the doubt since the OLine struggles so much.

With the people that we currently have we might be a player away in the oline for it to be a dominating Oline.

Look at the little tiny receiver returning beast.....that we got in the 4 th or 5th round proving that you can find talent other than the OL in the latter rounds....


I hope they get the best center in the draft. This Oline is not that far from been great......They just need to play together and stay healthy.

It just takes 1 scrub guard to mess up the play.....We had two of them as first teamers in this giants game.

Keep drafting OLine in the first round until you have a great OLINE.

And if Tannehill doesnt pan out keep drafting QBS in the first round until you hit on one.

OL AND QB are the most important positions on a football team...You cant score and you dont win.

Now i hear that rosenhous said on channel 7 that tunsil will start on the left side and dallas thomas on the right side.


Gase is giving everyone one a clean slate....He is going to let dallas thomas work himself out of a starting spot...

If dallas thomas starts at guard to begin year what does that say about the rest of the guards on this team.....>:::::::

Perhaps he's trying to make the QB decision easier for everyone by getting Tanny hurt? Just sayin'.

The problem is, Vic, the QB himself and not who is protecting him and how good they are.

The future QB of this here team might already be on this roster.

I'm just saying, there's a lot of pressure on the coach to play the guy with the big contract...the guy who's been dubbed the "starter"....but, if that guy should get hurt, then everything becomes easier.

Yes, but let that guy continue to play behind an O-Line that does NOT contain Dallas Thomas!

This week we will see the Starting offense a bit more. We will have an idea how far theyve come since the start of training camp. Next week as well.


2 series is not enough to judge a offense.


Scratch both guards


insert..Tunsil....and anybody else but dallas thomas at guard and we will do much better.


PS. I cant take no more of tannehill standing in the pocket without even trying to make a play just ready to be hit or sacked....


Is it in him to scramble and make a play? I doubt he has that ability...

Even a top notch offensive line can hold a block for so long.

I have a feeling dallas thomas is going to get some dolphin qb hurt soon.

I'd totally give him a piece of my mind if I saw him on the street! But let's be honest, we all know he'd step aside and I'd walk right by him unabated.

For as much as two staffs have talked about him improving, Dallas Thomas is still unbelievably bad. Like, not on NFL roster bad.

Not a bad line on paper. But these guys are all coming back from serious injuries. Hoping they all stay healthy is a serious flaw. I have been screaming Oline depth since 2015. Tunsil filled a hole. We were so Fing lucky to score him . But our depth behind these starters in non existent.

I disagree that OL depth has not improved. Last year we had Jason Fox as our backup T, along with rookie Douglas and few other rookies/journeyman players that were added as injuries mounted. Bushrod has started as a LT. Obviously Tunsil is our LT of the future. Both Jamil Douglas and Billy Turner (injured his 1st training camp) are in their 2nd full years and have hopefully improved. This team is much better prepare if someone like Albert misses some time. Our backup G this years are last year starters and with some luck Dallas Thomas will be beaten out and cut.

The OL still needs to make progress this training camp. Last game was only the 1st preseason game, so they still have 3 weeks to sort of the issue, but the talent level is much higher and they have some good flexibility with the backups.

Allright then, I'm hoping your right because at this point with the inevitable injuries coming we have no other options. And Tannys future here depends on it.

We should trade him to a team that runs a read-option. Denver did pretty good with it when Tebow was there, and they're hurting for a QB!

Well, at one point he was projected as the overall #1 pick. You can only do so much with smoke-and-mirrors. I predict at some point this year Brandon Albert will go down with (another) injury, and Tunsil will take over as our starting LT (which is his natural position anyway).
