So 4th qtr comebacks is the criteria you're judging him by? Might want to check his stats against names like Aaron Rodgers and Andrew Luck, not to far off with far less talent around him, like I said, he's not Dan Marino and never will be, get over it already

Can't get over it............We have no qb.

I want the dolphins to make the playoffs this century. And it will not happen with tannehill as the qb.

$100 bet Sam? To the Miami Dolphins cancer charity if we don't make the playoffs this season. I'm that convinced Tannehill is a great QB just waiting for a little help.

To clarify, with Tanny, this season if we don't make the playoffs I'll send a check in your name. We make it, with Tanny.....you send it.smileys with beer

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Well, Treasure, I admire your confidence, but I can't see the Fins making the playoffs this year.

Too many questions, including Gase as the new HC. It sounds like he will be great, but I have seen that before. New schemes, new coaches, new players....

The division is tough; Miami will "probably" finish at the bottom. The Pats are the Pats; both NY and Buff have improved, and both finished above Miami last season.

Other divisions have good teams that will make the playoffs, some having two teams and at least one division (probably) fielding three teams in the playoffs.

I would just be happy with Miami playing strong football all season and have a winning season, something we fans haven't seen in a long time.

But, playoffs, I don't think so.

Tannehill is a great QB. But he can't do it himself. Finally he might be getting what he needs . And he has never complained. He has had alot of shit to deal with. Love'em. I'd bet on him any day of the week.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

So Treasure we all thought you were saying that Tanny was

a) A good enough QB or
b) not the problem

But you are actually saying he is GREAT.

Hey cap I agree with most of what you said but how has buffalo improved?

Ryan took over a team with a great D and has totally rebuilt it to fit his scheme while thinking Tyrod Taylor is the answer at QB.

They have 8-8 written all over them.

I'm saying he Can be great. He has the potential. Look at Dan Marino. He goes to the Jets early.....doesn't step onto a Superbowl team. Maybe he doesn't do so well. Maybe he is all right but Wins a superbowl. Circumstances dictate everything.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

I guess I was confused by the use of the word "is a great QB."

10 yrs. We had QBs that threw 2000 yds plus. Look at the Jets. THE Chiefs. The Browns. Yeah.....Tanny is doing just fine. Trouble is you all are spoiled by Dan Marino. When you think about it, he never won either. So what do you define as great?

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Marino never won?

We were always in the playoffs in the 80s and 90s...

I will take been in the playoffs as opposed to having a qb who needs a pro bowl team around him in order to make it.

I'm sure Treasure was referring to Super Bowls when he said Marino never won.

You will take playoffs and losing?

We will have to agree to disagree then. And if you call the Oline or the defense from last year as anything close to mediocrity, you need your eyes checked. If they played just decent , we would have made the playoffs.

No, Treasure, I prefer being in the playoffs and losing than not being there at all.

And your blaming the wrong person. The defense was ranked at the bottom of the NFL besides being one of the most expensive. The Oline couldn't stop a wet fart. Mesnehile Tannehill put up 4000 yds despite it all.

Well, I'm just saying that he bears his share of the blame.

Yes and no. Yes he could be better. Yes he could show some emotion.

But no its not his fault because he came from college with what 8 friggin starts? hes had no structure, no coaching . Going on this 3rd Offensive coordinator , and No oline . His confidence should be wrecked but he keeps getting up and dusting himself off. Never pointing a finger that should have been. Never crying. Thats something else I noticed. he's very even keeled. He would make a great cop. He doesnt get upset when things go bad or good. I'm hoping Gase will make the difference. He picked this team BECAUSE of Ryan Tannehill. He wants him over all the others. It will make a huge difference in his success.......I can feel it. Just like I knew in my gut Dion Jordon was a train wreck. Hold on to your couch cushions bro, Ryan Tannehill will be the talk of the town. winking smiley........IF we get him a little more Oline help. We took some big steps in improving it with Tunsil......but that mess needs more then just one player.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Quote: Yes and no.

Thats not the answer....The answer is yes he shares his share of the blame.

If he was better, the dolphins would be better.

And this year all the excuses go out the door. He is given the weapons in
the draft. No more excuses.

REALLY Sam? You know these draft picks are all solid how? I have news for you our drafts have sucked long and hard like a crack whore actually and no he has never been given any weapons , just empty guns. All show , no go. Thats the Issue. And he still made lemonade out of the lemons despite all the shake ups every season. I'm hoping and praying Tunsil was the steal of the draft but we wont know until next year will we? What if Albert doesnt stay healthy and our other high draft picks get inured again on the Oline? Are you going to blame him again for not protection, no run game? Will our defense step up without Philbin and his lame crew?

Lots of unanswered questions. I'll tell you a couple of ANSWERED ones though:

Most passing completions in a single season 392 2014
Most passing completions in a rookie season 282 2012
Highest completion percentage, career 61.9% 2012-2014
Highest completion percentage in a single season 66.4% 2014 (Min. 500 attempts)
Most passing yards in a rookie season 3,294 2012
Most passing attempts in a rookie season 484 2012
Longest rush by a quarterback 48 yards 2013
Longest rush by a rookie quarterback 31 yards 2012
Most consecutive pass completions 25 2015 (Also an NFL record)

Your blaming the wrong guy Sam sam. However if Ryan finally gets the help he needs, and I think we might be on the right track now with Gase.....Our defense will help him finally finish games.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Dont worry TCPF......we will have the answers this year.

Either we make playoffs or we need to draft a qb in the first round every year from now on.

Andrew luck already took an erratic colts team to the playoffs.

Can tannehill play well for a change and make everyone around him better in 2016?

You know like good QBs do!!!!!!!!!!!!

We'll see.

PS. Maybe we are to make Ryan Tannehill our 5th Slowish WR option.
