WOuld like to see us go defense for sure... CB or LB preferably... There seems to be some good CB's left in rd 2. Also what about the LB from USC we like, Su Cravens?

All things are subject to interpretation whichever interpretation prevails at a given time is a function of power and not truth.

There are like a dozen Dlineman out there that carry a 2nd rnd grade or higher, wow.
I would like to go
2 Ragland if Rags is gone 2 BPA
3 DLine 3 DLine
4 Rb 4 RB
There is going to be a player w/ a first round rating for us in the 2nd rnd. We again should go best player available.
That could be Alexander, Ragland, Hunter TE (AR) or one of the Dlinemen. Alexander would be the only corner I would look at in rnd 2.
At this point Im for skipping Henry in the 2nd.
RBs Henry, Howard*, Dixon, Perkins*, Prosise*, Collins*, Booker and Drake are still. On the board. One of those guys is going to be there in rnd 3 one will still be around in rnd 4.
I'm not sure what an enlarged aorta means for Ragland's future health. What a year for LB's. All top 3 with health issues and dropping hard.
Also not sure about Cravens since he's undersized at 6'1 226 and not very fast with a 4.69. Too small for LB and too slow for safety. He would have to bulk up like Shaq Thompson has done in Carolina. He is actually playing strong side LB.
I am not impressed with McKenzie Alexander too much. I like Fuller better and he's an inch taller at 5'11. Neither really fit the mold of what Gase and Joseph want for a CB. Probably 6' minimum.
That means Xavien Howard at 6' 202. (He's projected to go at 33 to Titans though).
Sean Davis 6'1 201. Harlan Miller at 6' 182 or one of my later round favorites, James Bradberry 6'1 211.
Also not sure where the next running backs will fall. Could be 2nd round and could be 3rd and 4th. Their might be a run on them today.
Wow did not hear about Raglands aorta. Some teams will be ok w/ it might be nothing but if the kids drops w/ an aneurysm or something you gotta live w/ that. I live in ACC country and have seen Alexander Fuller and Canaday quite a bit. Alexander gonna shut you down that's all there is to it. Fuller has talent and is taller but I would take someone else in the 2nd. There was talk about Alexander and character a few weeks ago Im not sure where that came from. All I ever heard or read from CLEM was that he was a guy you wanted on your team.
I agree with Joe on Fuller and Ogbah. My buddy is a OKSTATE alum and we watch a lot of their games together. I have no idea how a bum like Lawson gets drafted ahead of Ogbah, he's a beast.
I'd add a couple as well:
Hunter Henry
Reggie Ragland (even with his medical condition)
Derrick Henry (looks like we might have an OL that can suit his skill set now!)
Su Cravens (scheme flexibility is key here)
So, lots of good players still on the board and we should be able to get one.

I am looking for Miami to get that starting CB, but is there anyone left who (could be) a sure starter?

I only saw Ogbah play twice and it was nothing there 90% of the time. He got blocked out of the play, neutralized by a single blocker or late on the play.Im missing what folks see in him maybe it was the wrong 2 games. Again I live in ACC country so I have seen more of Lawson imho Lawson is leagues ahead.
I understand that Jack is a rare talent, but with that knee, I don't think Miami can afford to take that chance.
Miami needs an immediate starter that will be in the league for a while. Jack is (probably) not that guy.
Can Miami afford to pick Jack with their second pick and (1) have to wait for him to get healthy or (2) have a guy who will be in Miami for a short time and not playing up to his ability?
IMO, a team that is loaded can afford to take the chance; Miami cannot.
BUFF got two players that they wanted and we get to see Ragland twice a year. Im still wondering why we made the trade for Howard.
Bucs got Hargreaves in rnd 1, Giants & Bills were not going for a corner. I think he would have been there at 11. I like Howard but this is a deep draft we are going to miss out on someone in the 4th.
I don't think this draft is too deep at lb. Maybe that kid from Temple in the 5th rnd. Hard nosed mlb.
RBs in the 3rd Howard(IN) and Perkins(UCLA) are my fav. Howard is a bruiser that's faster and cuts better than Henry. Perkins is fast and shifty and has good eyes when running in traffic.
Well they fell in love with Drake. Might be a good swiss army knife back like Tony Nathan I would rather we had gone somewhere else but if he is good enough for the Phins front office ...
