This according to a push notification I got from the NFL app. Says he will probably get somewhere in the neighborhood of 8 mill per year. Article says signing Williams means the end for Wake, scheduled to make 12.5 mill since they play the same spot.

Edit: It's official. 2 years, 8 mill per. Welcome to Miami Mario!

He's played both end positions and played them quite well.

I'd rescind Vernon's tag.

I am much more comfortable with Mario Williams for 2 years than 4-5 years of OV who I think will be overpaid and I think will never be a probowler.

There's reports that Wake isn't going anywhere, they must rescind the tag on OV

Three reclamation projects! Nice job Mikey!

There are already rumors of players in the locker room not liking Suh and that he is standoffish. Now we are adding someone with the same M.O.???? What the hell is Tannenbum up to? Does he even realize that team chemistry is as important as talent? I guess not.

He will probably draft Jaylon Smith at 8 and Nkimdeche at 42.

I do like the fact that Mario was given incentives in the deal. After his performance last year he needs it. Deal could worth $2M more per season if incentives are reached.

Cam Wake had these incentives in his deal....

11 Sacks: $750,000
13 Sacks: $1 million
15 Sacks: $3 million
League Sack Leader: $5 million

I would also like to see Williams play the strong side. We need a strong run defender in that spot and it would put him right next to Suh.

At this point Wake is a role player so he should be able to rush from the weak side. He has done it before. It fits his strength more anyway.

That is, unless they sign the DE from LA then Williams should go on the right.

In addition to the odd personalities of Suh and Williams, they also have Demontre Moore to deal with...Dan Campbell called him "an acquired taste". The guy was cut from NY because of a fight with Cullen Jenkins over $380 headphones. He might still be a tad immature at 23 years old.

This "funky bunch" could be a disaster.
