He's 29 and still very productive. He would bring toughness to our defense. I think he could start for another 3 years and we could draft another MLB in the middle rounds for him to tutor.
I think we should sign him.

I don't believe that his being cut was performance-related; I believe it was a cost-cutting move.

Miami could sure use him. How much would it take to get him?

I definitely don't want anymore high priced guys coming in. If he comes in at a "workable" price, then OK; if he wants big bucks, not so sure.

Grab him!! We haven't had a true MLB since ZT.

The Rams weren't exactly in cap trouble. They now have 58 mil available and saved 6 by releasing JL.

He was a decent player for a couple of years but at this point he's not much better than what we had/have. His production has dropped steadily over the last three years.

30 year old MLB? No thanks.

Anything is better than what we have had for a MLB the last 2 years. I don't want to over pay him but we don't have a starting quality mlb on our roster unless one of the last years rookie free agents improves vastly this offseason.

Anything is definitely not better. I don't see anyone rushing to sign him. Lots more players to come available in the coming weeks. Why get saddled to him now? No sense to rush in here. He's the type of player teams sign after FA and the draft to fill in a missing roster spot.

DeMeco Ryans, Stephen Tulloch, James Laurinitus....all available, all former good or great players that are no longer the same player there once were....teams cut them for a reason...to make room for a better alternative.

Well I'd take any one of those three on a short term deal while we rebuild over moving Misi back to he middle.

I'm definitely NOT moving Misi. He lasted 11 games as a MLB last time we tried that. It's time to move on from Misi. Luckily it's not an "either/or" situation. We have other options.

Teams can't sign him unless they had cap room from 2015.

So no one has 3 or 4 mil in cap space to roll over?
