Believe it or not......I'm a dyed in the wool Steelers fan. Loved Terry Bradshaw and the steel curtain growing up. Living in NYC I had to have a Team that wasn't 1200 miles away to cheer for (no internet back in the day) but we got a lot of Steelers games on TV (no cable either).
I was a Dolphins fan since 73' but the truth is, I only got to see them play twice a year unless they played the Giants. Only about 95' or so did they start offering NFL packages at Bars.I had to sit in second hand smoke with assholes cheering the Jets to see my Dolphins. But I remember the Chiliu being excellent!
So....I know Big Ben is down a wing , But Go Steelers!! Of course anyone who plays the Pats!
Incredible finish to the Cards & packers game. The most insane Hail Mary by Rodgers with no time left to tie the game in regulation followed by two plays of Larry Fitzgerald having the whole game on his shoulders to win it in overtime. What an amazing finish!
I hope all you guys who thought that the Patriots "threw the game to us" just so we would have a lower draft spot for our ownership to screw up will come forward and admit you were wrong.

If the broncos can rush the passer.....And i mean dominate rushing the passer.....they have a chance.......if not then its going to be a long afternoon for broncos and many dolphin fans as well.

I noticed that too. Even before the final drive. I've never seen a QB get away with not being called for grounding more than this game.
I agree some of those calls should have been called either in the grasp or intentional grounding. It was nice to see another team struggle with OL imploding for once.
Same oline Joe. Just a different pass defense strategy on the part of the opposition.
We stupidly play coverage on him. He beats us like a drum usually twice a year and we STILL don't frickin get what Denver did right off without hesitation. Put him on his f*cking ass@!

Not the same o-line though. Their o-line was decimated by injuries. 34 different combinations throughout the season.
Our defense did much better in second meeting when we held them to 10 points. Got more pressure.
Denver has two of the best edge rushers in the league, not to mention a whole host of LB's that can get after the passer and COVER (Gronk). They also have better CB's. They are a complete defense. #1 for a reason. That's the difference of having 8 or 9 star players compared to 2 or 3 like we do on defense.
That's not to say our scheme or strategy was good but we didn't have the personnel to back it up either. Wade Phillips is a hell of a coach. I'm sure our plan was to pressure Brady. It just didn't work in week 8. Our DB's gave up 356 yards and 4 TD's in the first meeting. We also lost Wake for the season in that game.
and BTW...we have split with NE the last 3 years so not exactly getting beaten like a drum twice a year.
