Listen to him at 50 sec.

TANNEHILL makes a great throw.........

I'm telling you. He has his gears turning he would give up some draft picks to score him for a limping old Tom Brady. BAD MOVE I hope this new GM doesnt make to score a New Head Coach with a different vision.

If they must make the price 2 first rounders and another player to someone out of the AFC East.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

And at the same point he says Miami is right at the very top of the league in big plays in the passing game.

Also for the detractors...RT just happens to be right at the top of the league in completions over 40 yards this past season.

Not too bad for a guy most think can't throw a deep ball.

I think the entire reason RT didn't improve across the board this season is...

1. O-Line stunk and couldn't hold blocks, or often times block at all, in the passing game.
2. O-Line couldn't consistently run block either.
3. The first two insured that we were in third and long all season.
4. Defense couldn't get off the field.

Of course there were many, many, other reasons and RT made mistakes of his own...but, these are the biggies.

YES. And the penalties from the 2nd and 3rd stringers on the Oline always putting us at 2nd and 3rd long. AND I believe Tannehills bad decisions stemmed because he was always trying to make something out of conditions that involved all of the above. He actually had no pass rush from the Pats and look at how much better his passes were.

Drink up my boy! You Ken " get it."smileys with beer

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Belichick always talks up opponents, I wouldn't get too excited. I think it's his strategy so his teams don't overlook opponents.

At least after DC became head coach, the defense seem start off strong but wear down after a bunch of 3 and outs.

I think one problem with the offense this has been overlooked is that it took Tannehill a long time to get insyc with his receivers. At the beginning. Of the season, it was only Landry. Then after a couple games it was Landry and Matthews. And later I think he season Landry and Parker. He never seem to be comfortable with Cameron or Stills. The previous year he had work worked with Hartline and Clay his whole career. Wallace for 2 years, even though Wallace didn't develop into the deep threat, he still averaged 70 catches and 900 yards and led the team in TD rec.

The last couple years the team has gotten got rid of some of its 'problem' players. I wonder if the real problem was Philbin and he was trying to keeping the losing the team by getting rid of any vocal players.

I agree but I would amend a few of those...

RE: 2. The run game was often abandoned for various reasons. We got down early due to shoddy defense, poor play calling, offensive philosophy under Philbin and Lazor. This made the offense one sided where teams just ran the nickle and dime defense to stop the passing game. There was no threat of the run for the first 11 weeks outside of the Ten and Hou games.

RE: 3. The offense that was ranked 12th in 2014 was somewhat a question mark for defenses. In 2015 the gimmicky offense was made obsolete just like the wildcat. See Washington, SF, Philly, etc. Washington succeeded when it installed a traditional system.

Our offensive system and coaches were so bad that not even the firings could help Miami. Philbin had a .333 winning percentage with this team and no significant injuries. A .363 under Lazor and Philbin and a .416 under Dan Campbell.

Same on defense. The coaches are bad....just not AS bad. The problem here was poor management by lack of talent. 4 stars on defense of which 1 was lost. That leaves 8 guys consisting of 2 decent to very good players, 1 average player and 5 that should be only playing special teams. You are doomed when 3 out of 4 starting DB's are toast and 1 DT is a door mat.
