Kelly is another carpet bagger coach peddling the only offense that he knows that require HIS players to run it. Titans would be idiots to hire this guy after his debacle in Philly where he was still looking for a qb to run HIS O after 3 years.
I'd prefer him or really anyone to trading a high pick for Sean Payton. Honestly I really think we will end up giving an unprecedented top 10 first round pick for Payton, who has a losing record and ran the Saints into the ground with his personnel decisions (and he will want personnel control here). This would be the most Dolphins move ever, so watch it happen.

The beatings will continue until morale improves.
Kelly took a 4-10 eagles team and went 10-6 with a division championship the first year then had a playoff run his second season. This year has been his only bad year. Philly has issues with the front office that made the team fail. It wasn't kelly. I would love to have kelly as our coach, but only if he wouldn't insist on personel control.

True

How so? It was Kelly who had final say in 2015, turned the roster completely over, traded QB's, shipped of the PB RB and WR. How is that not Kelly's fault?
Roseman is the guy who brought the talent there in the first place for players like DeSean Jackson, Jeremy Mclin, Shady McCoy, Benny Logan, Fletcher Cox, Mychal Kendricks, Brandon Graham, etc.

I don't see any team dumb enough to give him that again. He blew it! Not even the Dolphins.
In 2013/14 I thought Kelly beat the teams he was supposed to beat. He also seemed to bring some drama into the locker room.
but he did lose Foles in the middle of 2014 and Foles has not looked as well in St Louis as he did in Philly. As mentioned Roseman brought the players in Kelly's job was to coach them. Looks like he caught Tuna fever and wanted to pick the players too.
He messed up in his actions as GM. He had no WR's left after he shipped them off. Not sure how you field such a bad defense (30th ranked) with the star players he has on there. He did make some bad moves at CB but other than that they are stacked.
The offense struggled because they had no WR or good QB play. I get that part but they were ranked 15th.
I want a coach that understands that his job is to coach the guys on the field. You are not the GM, director of player personal, scout you are the coach. I like the way orgs like the Steelers and Giants are setup, coaches coach front office takes care of their duties.
Some coaches are prima donas, want to take on duties they cannot handle. Like everyone else in the org they need to stick to their jobs. No way in hell should Kelly have come in and demanded more personal power when he was so new to the nfl experience.
Kelly didn't do that. If you read the article, you'd know that. He was just pissed that a member of the team that is in charge of getting him talent was fired without his consultation.
So he went to the owner and made sure that Roseman couldn't do that again.
It doesn't matter, Kelly's not even on our radar. Tannebaum and Roseman are close buds. They are cut from the same cloth. They're non-football guys who made their way up and are both northeastern sharks. Tannenbaum gave Roseman his first NFL job, for christ's sake.
There's no reason to even discuss Chip Kelly as an option for this team.

It has already been said that he is happy in NO and is not planning on going anywhere. Of course, big bucks could lure him.
Miami is hurting as far as players go. IMO, they can't afford to lose draft picks to get him, and guaranteed one of those picks would be a first rounder.
I have kinda changed my mind about him, anyway, after watching his defense implode all year long.

If you'll notice, my comment was not generated by any disagreement between the two of us but how you seem to lord over the other posters when they disagree with you and set yourself up as the ultimate last word on the subject. There are doctors who can help you with that complex, Bellicheck 5.0.

LOL. I noticed that about him as soon as I returned from my "Hiatus" after 1 or 2 posts. He quite smitten with himself huh?
