Love the kid and what he brings in terms of talent and passion (minus stupid late-game penalty). But, it seemed like this week it was (a) give in to temper tantrum about lack of targets and 5 yards last game and (b) let's make part of the game about Landry and Odell being teammates at LSU.

18 targets in a game is quite a few too many for him, I believe. Sucks that much of the rest of the WR/TE corps was so inept with (I believe I read somewhere) 6 drops among the group. I don't remember them all, but I remember some well-thrown balls hitting receivers in both hands or chest or whatever in critical instances.

Without considering the nuances of situational playcalling - mainly due to my own ignorance at that level - I'd have had no problem if 8 of those targets turned into handoffs to Lamar and Ajayi or even more keepers by Tannehill.

Yes... I believe running Tannehill until his 'arm' falls off or he runs right out of his contract is the way to go. We paid him... run boy. He definately is way better running than accurate passing.
It opened up L.Miller a bit and helped with the passing game.

Maybe forcing him to run all the time will make him work on his passing game... heehee.

Well, the way you are posting about Tannehill he should do just fine with the losing part. Why expose Moore who you have as holding value?

I know what you mean tho... we usually win all these game that matter none. We need a few more wins to miss the draft pick that we really want/need. Happens almost every year.

The Colts held out for Luck. How did that work out for them? They are doing great. eye rolling smiley How about the red Skins and RGIII?

You want to lose every game left.
How stupid is that.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Stupid is if you wanna win every game left when you have nothing to play for......And there is got to be changes everywhere on this team...

Every position yes including the bust qb we have needs to be replaced...

And please do not say these scrub players we have are playing for next year to make team.....They all need to be replaced because they all suck.

Well, not exactly. Luck held out for the Colts... playing another year of college to avoid going to the Panthers is more like what happened. Skins didn't hold out nothing... trading two years of draft picks to get Griffin. Which, is another kind of nightmare.

Can't tank in any sport... then it is not 'sport'. The competition is everything a player plays for (plus the money).

Are you kidding me? Luck is a top 3 QB and except for injury he'd be tearing it up. I'd trade the entire team for luck. I'd go 0-16 for Luck. It worked out great for them---in the playoffs every year with an otherwise crap team and ONLY b/c of him at QB.

PLENTY to play for.:

Momentum to carry into next year.

Roster and coaching evaluations. Who gets tossed (almost everybody, I hope). Who stays? (almost nobody, hopefully).

A better record would attract personnel who otherwise might not consider coming to miami. "They're 5-11 every year...I can't waste my career on a hopeless franchise" vs. "they're about 8-8 every year...they just need people like ME to bring them over the top."

And a little thing called PRIDE. MUST BEAT PATSIES to close out the season!

Well I'm always on board with "MUST BEAT PATSIES".....Hell, I was so disappointed when they won Sunday night.

I love Landry dearly, but his temper stopped what could have been a game tying drive this past Monday night. That was a really stupid penalty. The very next pass play would have given us a 1st down if he didn't add another 15 yards to it.

Right, 808, as I pointed out this last game was lost by stupid emotional penalties in front of the ref as well as the stupid committee that turned a magnificent punt inside the 5 into a touchback.
