Even if we lose against new england.....but keep it close and make it a game, i will feel different.
And yes there is hope....But ive said that so many other times, its hard not to flashback....
I'm almost afraid to hope, and I'm certainly not all in yet..But, I will say that Campbell's post-game presser was damn good, one of the best I've ever heard.

YES!! That's how I felt about Tanny during his rookie season! It's different.
There's a lot going on for someone who was "field promoted" to lead the team. He's already inspired players with his no fooling around strong rhetoric. I sense the players take him seriously and sincerely. He is also learning to be HC.
Campbell is going to put them though the pacers to make them better, to make them hungry, to energize them to want to compete for the team, their team mates, the coaches and themselves. The end result will show in the intensity on the field that is generated from the top down. Some of the players will emerge as disciples of Campbell--mark my words. Things will continue to improve. The Texans better prepare for a hard hitting game or they will be over run.
I watched the Dolphins digest pregame. James (Oline) stated he pitted the offense against the defense and had AA point system. Losing side has to clean up and carry equipment back to the Locker room. Offense lost. He said Tanehill went back twice to get more equipment. Everyone noticed.
I understand where you are coming from SamSam, but there is a spark, whether you choose to believe in it or not. Hope makes every victory that much sweeter.
I'll consider believing if he can beat the Pats. This team has a recent history of usually doing well defensively against NE and slowing down Brady and their offense. Miami normally loses because their offense has been allergic to the end zone. Sparano had the defense to win, but no playmakers on offense thanks to that moron Ireland. Philbin and Coyle ran the defense into the toilet, and Philbin's offense was mostly short passes along with very few runs and deep throws, making it one-dimensional and easy to defend.
It took Campbell just one game to show us that although the team has holes it can still compete, and that Philbin is the worst coach that this team has ever had. During Cameron's 1-15 season the team played hard and were in almost every game; they just didn't have enough talent to win. This team under Philbin was worse.
If Campbell can get his defense to be all over Brady like they were with Mariota and the offense can continue to run and use play action, then they can beat NE.

They can HURT New England. Cause pain and their season. Belichick is worried........

I want Miami to beat NE more than any other team. Any way they can...I don't care how they do it. Bite, scratch, kick, punch, yank testicles, I don't care...Do whatever it takes. In fact, if any of our players gets fined after that game, I'd be happy to pitch in to pay it if I could.

Their QB doesn't have any testicles. Maybe yank on his hair plugs.

Also, Sparano was a good motivator, and under his watch was the Wildcat Surprise, where we smacked the Patsies good on their own turf (yes Brady was hurt, but still).
I'm not saying we should pull out the trick plays against the Pats (especially after watching that Colts game), though. How about some good old smashmouth football.
