I keep hearing Chuck Pagono is on the hot seat in Indy. Not sure why but if that guy becomes available he'd have to be at the top of the list.

Just want to clarify my post. I don't want us to ASSUME THAT we should go out and get another person for Head Coach AND then have Campbell become another Todd Bowles. As long as Campbell is doing what he is doing, kicking butt and taking names, and even some fire is coming out of Tannehill I say let the rage, rage on!!!!

Keep campbell the rest of the year.

We want the first overall pick this year and next.

Keep campbell next year as well.

I like Campbell's enthusiasm and energy, but there's so much more to being a winning NFL head coach. I hope that he proves to be a rising star. Unfortunately, the odds are against that happening.
But at least, we have something interesting to look for this season. Had Ross not fired Philbin, the funeral procession that would have been his final days as the head coach would have been unwatchable.

A large part of a winning team is playing with emotion. I think we have that now.
Just think of the scene in the movie "Major League" with the players in the locker room when Tom Berringer gets up and delivers the line that sends chills down my spine, "Well, there's only one thing left to do now, and that's to win the whole damn thing."
Go Phins

If Campbell can get this team to be competitive enough to justify keeping the job, then hiring good coordinators would help him learn as he goes... especially coordinators with HC experience.

Neither did Philbin or Sparano when they started. How much worse could he be?

McDaniels. I think he could be another bellichek, bombed in first job was great in second. people rightly laugh at the tebow pick but he was right to get rid of jay cutler and right to draft demarious thomas. we could use an Ahole like him as coach, and going up against Bellicheck in NE

Every great coach had a first season. WTF not? He was in the NFL for 11 yrs. Hes been coaching for 6. He's been here longer then anyone for a reason. If he surrounds himself with good people I think he has tremendous leadership qualities. I'm pulling for him. thumbs upsmileys with beer

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Im w/ Sam on this one Campbell is going to do his bet but even on his first interview the talk was tough but his eyes were like Im in over my head. Game planning is a collective effort where all the football experince of the coaches come into play and these guys experiences are pretty shallow compared to their competitors.

Campbell is not Bowles who we should have kept.. Saw an article last week wear they quoted Ross' reason for not hiring him was because he could not sell him to the Miami fan base.

First of all i hope you are right 100 percent....

Now lets get back to reality....Dude every move ross makes you think is the right move. Well its not.

You think an interim coach is going to be able to go toe to toe with coaches like belichick or ryan?

Think again...

Btw im pulling for him as well.......I just havent lost my senses yet.

He has Al Saunders to help him with the game planning stuff....

Like I said before, it's going to take a miraculous effort but what else you got to do? Cheer the guy on. It beats whining about stuff that hasn't happened yet.

Saunders has a pretty good resume and is well respected. he's straight from the "Air" Coryell coaching tree. He won't be implementing his 700 page play book but he can certainly help straighten this mess out.

As an OC, Saunders built the NFL's top offense, which was ranked #1 in the NFL from 2002–2005.

Won a SB in 2000 as a WR coach.
