Yep but I like Tanne and have always supported him. this year we need him to step up. Ellerbe is gone, Wheeler is gone and Wallace is gone. All the guys that a lot of people on this page had no problem criticizing. This year Tanne will hear his share.
Mizzou, what you have to understand about Joe is that no one can make criticisms except for him.
I had a belly laugh last night as I read him say in effect, "ChyrenB, you say no one can tell anyone what to do while telling me not to criticize people. Gotcha."
That's like Hitler saying "How hypocritical of you telling me not to be a dictator! That's in and of itself in being a dictator yourself because you're telling ME what to do!"
You're hitting the nail on the head yourself, SamSam. Yeah, we appreciate the win but given all of the deficiencies (and the fact that only one player, Landry, was playing his ass off), our concern is that if this is a projection of things to come, there won't be many wins in the future and THAT IS WHY YOU AND I are posting. Yeah, this is just a chatboard but some people like Cshashaty drop in occasionally and I still suspect that JSM08 is really Joe Philbin (LOL).
I have given Tannehill praise constantly. I think he is an amazing athlete and a really classy leader for the franchise. But he needs to stop with these battered passes at the line . He did that shit in his first season and I made excuses for him. 5th season that needs to stop. The Fumble for a 20yd loss was maybe his fault , maybe not, but the totality of the day made it sickening. Shouldn't be making these mistakes anymore. Cut the crap and be a professional . Tannehill has the ability to be elite, cant do that playing like he did last Sunday.
Changes for Jax game....don't show up and expect to win. Take it too them like you should. No more base D. 8 in the box. On O fast paced and get miller involved early.
I'd like to see a dominating performance.
That said, we are more talented than Wash and Jax. Maybe they aren't showing much because we'll open it up against the Jills in our home opener.
Right, SamSam. And if there were any SECOND biggest Tannehill supporter it would be you SamSam. I can't remember what your old signature used to be but both you and Treasure both had signatures praising Tannehill, one of you called him "the real deal" and I still think he can. Let him loose to do what he does best AND teach him to throw it into the cheap seats quicker when a play is a no go.

I wonder if Bronco fans are saying this morning "yeah, we're 2-0 but did you see Manning almost throw a few INT's and overthrow his receivers on multiple occasions"........or you think Chiefs fans are saying "Jamal Charles is a bum, can't believe we paid "X" amount of dollars for him, cut him now!"
Didn't he throw a pick-6.
Manning is clearly not the QB that he used to be. He just doesn't dominate a game like he used to and he's getting knocked to the ground much more than I've ever seen. May not finish the season.
Still, I'm sure true Bronco fans prefer to ride him till he drops.
