Hey everybody I am back...for my 7th season on this board. Watching this 2015 team with the same hope as every season, to win the Super Bowl! Hopefully this is the season.
Threat of the long pass is effectively opening up the short passing game. Could it be what we talked about for years on this board is finally materializing?
That was a great game. Its Pre season and from that perspective I can see our starters are going to be an issue for any NFL team. And even though we lost 2 games straight , I believe we can clearly see who belongs and who is not making the first cut.

not bad, but Jason Fox got concussed I believe.. And the Tackles behind him didnt look so good.... Once Albert gets back Fox might turn out to be a decent #2...

If no one gets hurt, we may have a great team! No depth, hopefully these 3rd stringers can play better with 1st team quality, they just suck as a group.
Jamar Taylor injured AGAIN (quad). This guy cannot be counted on to play 16 games.
Same could be said of Jason Fox but he is (hopefully) just a backup. Glad we have Linkenbach, who continues to be decent.
Same for Koa Misi, Jordan Tripp (injury prone).
AJ Francis continues to look solid. Hopefully he can stay healthy.
Billy Turner is terrible so far. Dallas Thomas has been ok at LG. Jacques McClendon was decent. Brenner struggled a bit.
Dion Sims had a terrible block on one play and gave up a sack.
At LB, Kelvin Sheppard is a JAG. Below average at this point. Jeff Luc flashed a little bit. Zach Vigil failed to carry his momentum into week 2.
I would be shocked at this point, if Branden Albert starts game one. We may be better off sitting him until his is truly ready. The most common time for a reoccurring injury to the ACL are the first months of the return due to overload of rehab. I had never heard that before (until recently) but we saw what happens when a player comes back too soon....see Louis Delmas, Sam Bradford.
LaMichael James looked great on returns and one run on offense. Williams is cementing his spot as #2 RB.
3rd and most important game coming up vs Atlanta.First game in new stadium field.
Got one more game to get things cleaned up and to get a real look to see who will be starters at key positions....
I saw too many players taking bad angles in the back 7. Reminded me of the end of the season when our rush defense collapsed. Better get this fixed ASAP. Too many big runs given up by 1st team defense.
I hear Stephone Anthony is killing it for the Saints this off season. Hau'oli Kikaha looks like a beast playing 43SLB for NOLA. Looks like they got 2 pretty good LBer's.
Shaq Thompson looked like a beast in coverage for Carolina but is a liability vs the run. Cannot get off blocks.
Denzel Perryman was injured most of the OS but has looked decent. Has not earned a starting spot though.
