I read that Delmas hurt his knee again in the practice today with the Panthers......not good news...

By Lou nice to have known ya. All we know is that you are injury prone. Time to invest in guys that we know are going to be there when the whistle is blown.
Sorry to hear about LD but I am anxious to see Walt Aiken. He's got skills. Could be next man to come out of the shadows in year 2. M. Thomas is no slouch either. Good depth there IMO.
Dolphins save 1.2 mil on the cap this year after the injury. Good thing they signed him to an incentive contract. He loses 47k per game lost plus other incentives.
the Dolphins ought to hire themselves out to medical offices looking for prospective patients because damn we can sure pick em (future patients) even before they suffer injuries.

Coyle says that Walt Aikens is the leading candidate to replace Delmas. Says Walt had a great offseason. Thomas' role increased as well
It's a shame we've had such bad luck with FAs going down. With another season out Delmas is likely seeing the end of this NFL career. I'll bet there are many other teams with similar good luck...just the nature of the game. I wish Delmas a speedy recovery.
