Have there been any reports after 5 full weeks of post surgery recovery for Parker?
Eager to hear if they have a date yet for his return to practicing...

I was told as of yesterday he was still in a cast... And there was some skepticism as to whether or not he will be back for start of camp...

Parkers agent, James Gould said this week that it's too soon to tell if Parker will play in preseason but that it's not an issue. Everything is perfect and they "got this one right" in regards to the surgery...won't be a lingering issue.
Parker also leads all rookies with 10 endorsement deals. Said it is due to his quiet confidence and ZERO off field issues. Among deals are Adidas and proctor and Gamble.
Branden Albert remains determined to play in season opener. Said he is right on track.
I don't know -- seems like an awfully long downtime for a new Phillips screw...
Sounds like the area had to be "re-broken," reset and then re-screwed. Otherwise, why the cast and such a long period of time? Maybe it's just me but it seems like we bought some damaged merchandise.
Never been a fan of drafting kids fresh from surgery in college -- especially in the R1 of the draft.
Other than that -- what's the agent gonna say? By implication, he's also saying it was NOT done right the first time -- so this was a corrective surgery and not some kind of "tune-up" like some have portrayed.
“Are they bone grafting him? If they are, that’s going to be longer than eight weeks,” Chao said. “If they’re just putting in a slightly bigger screw, you’ve got a chance at eight weeks, but I don’t know if it’s a guarantee.”
Jones had a bone graft procedure in 2013. Robert Anderson, the doctor who performed his surgery, performed a recent study looking at 21 elite athletes — including 12 football players — who had surgery to replace a previous screw with a larger one. All 21 of those players also underwent a bone graft procedure.
They all made a full recovery, and only one player suffered a re-fracture, and that was in a car accident.
The average player returned to action in 12.3 weeks, with a range of six-to-16 weeks.
Whatever it is, it is... The most important issue IMO, is not to rush him back to soon... If it take 12 weeks so be it... Long term is much more important than short term with this kid... He needs to put on some more muscle on this year any way...

From those pictures it doesnt seem so.. But from his rookie camp footage, he looked a bit thin for his frame... Now that I look at it, it doesnt seem like those 2 pictures are the same guy... Which one is him?
