I believe that they need to set the record straight and if its paid for then they need to include that in the promotion. That's all I'm saying. Don't parade these great men and women about under false pretenses. I thought the Teams were doing something awesome for the benefit of these great men and women.

And I don't care that its a trillion $$ budget. Does not make it right by any standard. The NFL teams should pledge not to take the money and donate it into a wounded veterans account. This is bothersome to me. I feel lied to .

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

That's funny you say that........"IF" it was only true

I just re-read the whole first page and neither you or Treasure infer the "if this is true" statement until the bottom of the page, and that was only after myself and Crowder tried to point out that it's more than likely bogus reporting.
It's OK, I've been wrong before, all you have to say is "wow, guess I was wrong about that one" <<<<<shoulder shrug>>>>>>

At the risk of boring everyone by re-posting a bunch, I'll just say if you really care, go back a re-read the first page.

......anyway, like I was saying, this was a bogus report trying to paint someone in a bad light (Owners, DOD, government, Goodell?). And before it's twisted any different, a tip of the cap to Treasure for being patriotic and pointing this out in the 1st place, the fact that it's not true shouldn't muddy the waters that it bothered him to begin with, we need more of that than people stomping on flags on facebooksmileys with beer

I also pointed out.......at only 20 grand , it was most likely NOT paid gratitude . But at nearly a million for some of the other Teams, they have some explaining to do.

However I do feel better . I have witnessed several dozen of these tributes at every game. They are done quite well and they do move me. Even my boys would stand straight and give them the attention they deserved. No small feat trust me! I'm am relieved they were done for the right reasons.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Thanks for the updated info Dolph and thanks for posting TCP... Ultimately it is best for this type of misinformation and shotty journalism to be dealt with and flushed out.. I think we did a good job of setting the record straight on such sensitive type of accusations by the writer.. What a shmuck....

Wonder why we are broke with 19 Trillion Debt ?

Makes me sick.. I am tired of paying taxes, wonder if, since I am a vet, they would cancel my taxes. Frivolous, what else can I say....

You know what? I would be for less taxes or some kind of a permanent write off for vets. Especially disabled vets.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Yep. It's the same thread. It's really unbelievable people would play with people's emotions like that.
