Fast by Big 10 college measurements but not by Pro measurement? Also, when I was at Purdue in the Big 10 in the 60's, it was also considered a big and physical but slow conference.
Right Chryen I like Cobb gutsy guy but he is really not that fast. Watched several MN games checking out that TE and I did notice his play. Not bad but I would not draft him.
Jones brings something we don't have power and blocking skills. He is also supposed to have good hands.
Phins don't know what a plug and play guard is. No way I see them drafting a G in the second round.
They are the pretty much the same speed. Jones ran a 4.61 and Cobb ran a 4.65. That's all you need for a short yardage back. Cobb is thicker, 5'11 230 compared to Jones at 6'2 230
Cobb...
Sources Tell Us "I'm hoping we get him. He can step right in and play because he runs tough and he knows how to pass protect. His offensive line was bad too. He's a way shiftier runner than he gets credit for." - AFC running back coach. NFL-combine
that guy must not have watched or filmed the MN VS Ohio St game or the MN VS Iowa game. MN oline owned the line of scrimmage in both those games. The 2014 MN oline was the strength of that team.
