Positioned to Draft BPA

I believe with all their pick ups the front office believes they can draft BPA. I have the tendency to believe they have.

What do you guys think?

Yeah, BPA at position of need.

Miami has too many holes to just go BPA. They aren't on the cusp of a Super Bowl to just go BPA.

The Patriots can do that, but not the Fins.

We have to be able to compete in our division first and they are some of the best defenses in the league. I think we have to "out-physical" them. We can probably do that on defense. We need to get players to do it on offense.

Jets defense: We are going to have a hell of a time trying to pass on the DB's. We have a good TE to create some mismatches occasionally but I want a physical o-lineman to open up some running lanes.

Bills defense: secondary is depleted now at safety. We can pass on them if we can protect Tannehill.

I don't care if it's first or second round but we need a bad ass o-lineman.

I agree. All the draft experts are picking Wide receivers at 14 not realizing we play in a division with two of the best d-lines in the league who Phins will have to face 4 times during the season.

The latest rumor is that the Dolphins are set to take one of 3 players....

1 DeVante Parker
2 Todd Gurley
3 Breshad Perrimen

in that order.

If two are still there at 14, they may try to trade down a few spots.

Too good to be true. Trade down and still get one of those? That would be awesome.

Saw another report a few minutes ago that Tannenbaum is "laying the ground work for a trade to move up and select a CB....Peters or Waynes."

I hope that bouncing smiley means that you are derisively laughing at that thought instead of being happy with anticipation of it.

This would be WORSE than moving up to no. 3 to get Dion Jordan.

Moving FROM THE NO. 12 PICK to pick up a corner who is going to be schooled in the NFL before he is of any value...as opposed to staying at 12 to get an RB like Gurley? I'd use this emoticon eye popping smiley...oh the horror!

We are the only team so far not to pick way before our time was up.

Yeah, when the clock got down to around a minute, I thought for sure Goodell was going to announce that Miami had traded their pick.

Just read this AM that Miami was on the phone taking calls to trade back, but they had their sights set on Parker.

I think it was a mistake not to trade back, as I would have still taken a receiver in the 2nd, getting a position of need in the 1st.

Now, if Miami gets lucky and is still able to get a position of need in the 2nd (i.e., one of the top OL is still there), then everything will have worked out well.

We shall see, but Miami, today, somehow/someway, has to get their 3rd rounder back, as that is a key round.
