The Dolphins are hosting veteran slot receiver Wes Welker on a visit.

This tells me one thing. They are thinking about giving Jarvis Landry a shot at one of the outside WR spots.

I think Welker is more likely to give production closer to the last time he was a Dolphin as opposed to anything resembling what he was in NE.

Landry might not have the speed on the outside. I would keep him in the slot where he exelled last year.

Classic.

We drop him early. He has his most productive years at NE and Den and then we consider taking him back in when, probably, there is nothing left in the tank.

I'd give him a one-year contract. He's earned one more shot.

That's the problem, he can't take one more shot............

Don't think this is a good idea.. He played 14 games last year and only had 494 yards and 2 TDs with Peyton Manning throwing him the ball... Not to mention we really need a bigger target, outside guy, it doesn't seem to make much sense to me for what he would cost..

I'll be shocked if we sign welker for all the reasons Crowder mentioned.

I think having him in was either a favor to Welker to create some buzz around him, or more likely, it was an effort to put pressure on Crabtree and or Jennings to force a decision on their part.
