Id be happy just getting 1 starter out of every draft. Great player
Like i said its going to take a while.
We are not going anywhere with this team.
That is unless we upgrade the Oline and tannehill magically turns out another tom brady next year and gets everyone else on the offense to the next level..

aaahhh....So, since Nick Saban reached for a 2nd round safety/CB a decade ago (2006) in the first round AND Dave Wannstedt drafted a CB in the 1st round, 14 years ago (2001), we shouldn't draft that position in the first round?
We should just go into the season with....
32 year old Brent Grimes
Will Davis, who will miss the first 8 games
Jamar Taylor, who has started 3 games in two years and also finished the season on IR and has a healing disorder
and take a chance we can find a STARTING CB in the 2nd round or later who can start from day one and be 10x better than the CB we just took in the second round 3 years ago?

OK...even if that were correct (no way of telling that), Grimes has a few years left. Why wait until he is done to pursue a #1 corner. besides he covers one side of the field, what about the other side?

Who? There is about one left and he is Grimes age. The good ones have already been signed.
It is a bad year for safeties but not a bad year for CB's. One at the top and the rest will need developing. There are probably 5-8 with low 1st or second round grades.

So what if we have no shot at the top 3 guys? There are no "can't miss" prospects after that and probably none (besides top 3) worthy of spot 14. We already gave up a 3rd round pick. I highly doubt they are giving away our 2nd or any next year to move up for a WR.

I never said they weren't.
