I would ink Thomas in at RG. Last year we were 5-3 and should have been 6-2 w/ him starting at RG. Things appeared to be clicking until Albert went down. We rushed for almost 200 yds vs NE.

makes sense for now but I don't think they will count on it. They will draft one in first 3 rounds to compete at either guard spot.

Right i'm thinking Tomlinson(Duke) in rnd 3. He can come in press the starters all will be better for the competition. The loser should improve the bench. I would also try Tomlinson at center or bring in one to fight for Pouncey's position. We have to pay Tannehill and if we get a rookie center that will allow us to release Pouncey Im for it.

I also think Taylor will be CB2. He will be one of the 2nd and 3rd year players that will raise their game this season.

We don't have a 3rd right now.

Right I got him at 2b on my draft card. Im trading down from 14th picking up an extra 2nd. that might be a reach but he is a player I would want:

Draft – Trade down 1
1 McKinney LB MS St
2 Ajayi RB Boise
2b Tomlinson G Duke
4 Finney C K State
5 Trail DE Norfolk St
6 Diggs WR MD
7 Clausell T MS St

picking Finney because I want to move Pouncey out in 2016. Drafting to get a solid LB, some backfield power and improving o line deph. Trail is a former Gator ended up at a FCS tall talented DE played high school ball in MIA(Booker T).

In my dreams, I'm trading down from 14 to 19 and getting back a 3rd.

1- Todd Gurley, RB
2- Philip Dorsett, WR or OL
3- Stephone Anthony, MLB
4- OL
5- Anthony Chickillo, DE
6- OL/DT/DB
7- DB

Look at the jets drafts under tannenbaum. you guys are dreaming if you think he's trading down.

his trend is quality over quantity. unfortunately his quality isn't all that.

wallace is gone. we'll trade up for white.

I like Chickillo. At one time I had a draft that listed 5 Gators Perryman, Dorsett, Duke, Walford and Chickillo.

That injury bothers me too roll the dice on Gurley.

Tannebaum had little control over the draft in NY.

99% of those picks were dictated by Rex Ryan's demands to get certain players or address certain positions.

Wallace may get traded, but he's not getting cut.

That didn't seem to be the case when you guys were making your case for Rex in Miami.

All the blame went to the gm.

"Tannebaum had little control over the draft in NY. "

Exactly Rex had too much control over the draft in NY. Again leave player acquisition to the front office. They work w/ the scouts who do all of the dirty work.Coaches like Parcells get the big head and want to step out of their box and get into player acquisition. At times even Shula had to much say so over draft picks.

The coaches might like a college player but its the scouts that get in and dig regarding the players work ethic character intelligence etc.

I think Hickey the dynamic is...everyone discusses what we need. Hickey decides which players fit that need. MT goes out and makes it happen.

Not from me.

I live in NY.

I've heard all the stories about who made the personnel calls on that team.

I really hope Dion Jordan gets a chance to unseat Koa Misi.

Maybe he gets hurt, but I doubt any rookie we might draft at 14 is going to have a better understanding of our defense than he will.

Physically, he's as talented as any CB in this draft.

And no DB in this draft is one of the top 15 prospects.

Barring an injury, he's our 2nd boundary CB.

You think Taylor has an understanding of the defense? He doesn't play like it.

You would be find more scouting reports that disagree with you about Waynes than you would the opposite. EVERY one I see has him in the top 15 and many in the top 10.

Now...if you were to say that about OL, I would agree.

I thought he played quite well. In fact, I thought we lost the Denver game when he went out early in the 3rd.

My only issue with him is that he can't stay on the field.

I guess we'll see.

Maybe I'm wrong but I think you have us taking a CB at 14, especially if White, Cooper and Parker are gone.

I think CB isn't even on the board in the early/mid first.

Can't wait for the draft. smileys with beer
