wilson's team is 10-0 against them. without his d bailing him out on his 4 picks sunday they don't stand a chance to win.

I am looking for the Pats to win. Why?

1. I don't like the Hawks.

2. I was born in Mass; the BOSTON Patriots were my first favorite team.

3. I am an AFC guy.

I'm wanting the Pats to lose. Why, Cap?

1. I don't like the Patsies. The filthy rodents.

2. I spend two tours of education in the Boston area when

3. We used to push them around like nothing.

4. Now they are rivaling our past team records for success.

5. Number 4 makes me forget any loyalty to the AFC.

I will never root for the Pats...unless a win by them somehow helps the Phins.

Them winning the Superbowl does not, so I want them to lose.

I'm rooting for a tie. I can't stand the Pats, and I detest Pete Carroll after the low class choke sign he flashed at Pete Stoyanovich for missing a game tying PAT.

That said, I think the Pats win by double digits.

GB showed how you beat Seattle. You lock down their wideouts in man coverage. The Pats have the best CB pair in the game. The problem the Packers ran into is they couldn't stop the run, but the Pats have Vince Wilfork and company. And the Seahawks will have to leave their 12th man at home.

31-20 NE

I remember the Pats vs Bear's super bowl. I swore I was afraid for the Patriots when they were driving downfield on their 1st possession. I really felt that if they had scored a TD instead of kicking a field goal they would have really pissed off the Bears defense and the Bears would have killed someone. I really thought that.

I hope Seattle brings it like the Bears did.

Wilson played perfectly at the end of the game and OT. I've always said you win in the 4th quarter.

It is a team game.

I don't think it's possible for tie in a playoff or Championship. They play until someone wins in OT.

It is not possible for any coach or team to be despised by me more than Bill and the Pats.

I will be rooting for Seattle even though I cannot stand Marshawn and I'm not sure how I feel about Sherman. Pete Carroll apologized for the incident in question but justice was served as it came back to bite him in the hiney anyway. We won that game. Long time ago.

I'm not sure I believe NE has the best CB duo in the NFL. Revis is an excellent corner but Sherman gets the edge IMO.

Opposite Revis is Browner and opposite Sherman is Maxwell.

Looking at QB ratings allowed for opposing QB's....

Sherman 48.4
Revis 72.6

Browner 89.7
Maxwell 81.1

I would give the definitive edge vs the slot to NE. This poses a problem because of Gronk who gets most of his yards from there. Ironically, he gets most of his red zone TD's as an outside WR (8 from outside). It will be interesting to see how Seattle defends him. I doubt NE puts him outside on the right to face Sherman.

The talk all week has been Seattle saying they will put Kam Chancellor on Gronk. I don't think that will be the case as he has not defended the slot much at all this season. Those duties have fallen to Lane and Burley (primarily Burley). Lane is much bigger so he may get the assignment along with safety help.

I've never see two teams so successful that have no legit outside receiver and such a lack of talent at that position.

Both teams are built on running the ball. NE is also the short passing game. Amazingly enough, Seattle is best at deep passing. Wilson is producing @ 46% to Brady's 33% completion rate.

The saving grace for Seattle may be Wilson's running ability as well as Lynch's.

Seattle will suffer vs the run because they lost Brandon Mebane. His replacement has been the aging Kevin Williams. Former all star that is best in limited snaps nowadays.

Key player for Seattle could be Michael Bennett in the pass rush when he slides inside to face a guard.

This game is too close to call but I'm rooting for Pete and co.

Seattle in a laugher much like last year. Denver had 10x the talent at WR last year and the Hawks had zero problem with them.

I see the Hawks pressuring brady up the middle and forcing him into bad decisions.

Lynch and Wilson will run all over the pats D and wilson will take advantage of that to hit a few big plays.

When the pats and their prolific offenses faced the Giants they were shut down.

Defense wins championships and I see no different this year.

Seahawks 37
Pats 17

and as an added bonus the hawks will be mocking the pats about deflategate after every big play.

Of course you are correct Joe, post season games can't end in a tie. But that doesn't mean I won't be rooting for one. smiling bouncing smiley

Who the winner is depends on if the Pats are allowed to cheat. Apparently Kraft has Goodell in his pocket.

It's obvious the Pats get special treatment by the refs, media and the league, otherwise there would be an overblown investigation into the deflation of balls.

You guys do realize that all teams have an owner and Goodell works for all of them, right? Do you really think they would allow him to side with one team, all the while stabbing the other owners in the back.

You need to keep searching for that next conspiracy theory because this one has no legs.

Anyone that did that would not be around for very long. Like i said, they have to answer to at least 32 bosses...not just Robert Kraft.

What about the head of officiating that was on the Jerry Jones bus? Didn't do him much good.
